From some of the comments in a Twitter post, evidently there is a new rule passed last year that says college players can bet on professional games but still can't bet on college sports. If true, this is basically a nothing burger.

Universities have “Last Day to Drop and Add Classes,” which is usually actually pretty hilariously late into the semester.

Not sure what ND’s is, but any potential new guys will have a few weeks at least to get registered.

Wouldn't this be totally out of character for how Freeman has handled this stuff in the past? Feel like he is usually pretty honest with kids. And I can't believe he would allow Mike Martin to operate that way.

Anthony Treash (our Director of football strategy) followed Alabama Freshman DT London Simmons today. Simmons is also followed by Carter Auman (director of recruiting) and Al Washington as well as Matt Freeman.

Simmons is not in the portal. He started 2 games as a true freshman and was on the SEC All Freshman Team.
