Knowles getting it done with getting top DT/DE players to The Vols. I also wonder how much $ is going out the door to make all this happen?

So Tennessee gets Gillam and Coleman for their Dline.
Michigan gets the Utah duo Daley and the DT (don't remember his name)
OSU looks to maybe get Brewu
ND most likely lands KK and possibly gets Mukam back.

There is still the Pitt DT (not Brewu), OSU DT and the Bama duo available.

Am I missing anything?

Considering ND was rumoured to have offered ridiculous money to Chaz Coleman, hopefully that money can be used elsewhere to close.

Whatever happened to the DE replacement for Burnham target who was on ND's list early on? I can't even remember his name now?

Smith Snowden, I haven't seen mentioned here, but ISD put him on their list. That would be a phenomenal add.
I've watched Snowden play a lot. Dude had been durable and has played a lot of football. He's the definition of an ND type transfer at nickel, in the mold of Thomas Harper and Jordan Clark. Just an under appreciated guy, that doesn't strike anyone as overly impressive physically, but can really ball. Not a guy who is going to "star" on the Defense, but a guy who will lock people down so that others can.

Agreed that Snowden would be a GREAT get and would fit in seamlessly with what ND does.

I think Keeley vs Coleman is a closer choice than people think. Keeley has shown more tbh.

My one night stand better leave room on the floating door… Rose is the true villain in that movie. She later marries, her daughter takes care of her and some random dudes life mission is to find the heart of the ocean jewel and she deprives all of them throws it into the ocean to honor a one night stand. If I’m her daughter I’m throwing her overboard.

Ok so back on topic,… this has got to be the biggest gut punch six weeks in my history as a fan… lose a chance at a natty basically two straights years when everything seemed so poised the day of the conference title games. And yes, zero impact DTs means forget a natty next year,… the ‘revenge season’ is relegated to the regular season and we all know it
I'm going to counterpoint this because I'm exhausted by everyone buying into this narrative. There were two playoff teams with top 10 DTs for the 2026 draft and each of the teams had 2! Guess what, they aren't in the title game. Oregon and Texas Tech

Defensive Tackle Rankings 2026 NFL Draft

You know what makes you a contender? Strong offense and strong defense. Great DEs are a cheat code at times. We don't need elite DTs, we just need some players to emerge (a portal acquisition wouldn't be frowned upon). We have a lot of players in the room who simply need to step up because we have really good edge players (Keeley would make that room even better), we have really good LBs, we have probably the best secondary in CFB returning.

Offense will be dictated by OL development this offseason and which RBs earn snaps. We have a lot of options at TE and WR and they aren't a concern.

If we get a stud DT, amazing. It rounds out the entire roster. Freeman has stacked the best talent any of us have seen in the past two decades.

Our DL must find 8-10 players from:
Boubacar Traore
Bryce Young
Loghan Thomas
Chris Burgess Jr
Dom Hulak
Cole Mullins
Elijah Hughes
Sean Sevilliano Jr
Davion Dixon
Gordy Sulfstead
Joe Reiff
Armel Mukam?
Jason Onye?
Rodney Dunham
Elijah Golden
E. Ewatade
Tiki Hola

+ any transfers

I'm excited to see what Cole Mullins, Burgess Jr, Sevilliano, Hughes and Dixon can do. I really want to see if any of the freshmen can earn 5-10 snaps/game. A DT transfer alleviates all concerns but if we simply have DTs who can hold the point of attack, we have enough athleticism everywhere else to be very disruptive.

Alright, done with the kool-aid. A DT would be nice.

Is there an OSU side report confirming a Brewu visit? Or do we just have the one post?

I’d love for you to be right,… I’ve accomplished almost everything I wanted in this life and most of the things out of my control I wanted to experience have also happened, a title for either football teams is the big elephant in my bucket list room, I’d take ND over the Browns in a heartbeat if the choice were mine. I guess I’m saying is I really care and they are so damn close it gets the frustration level to all time highs currently when a clear road block hits. However, I’m firm in my belief until proven otherwise… This current roster won’t be a legit contender next year without an interior upgrade. Hell, a kicking game will prob be a necessary add if a title is the goal too. Again, I’d pay to be proven wrong, but that’s where my mind is. If that’s so troubling as to be downvote worthy for some of you then use the ignore feature and go with God.

Have any of you fellow psychopaths heard anything regarding the two Bama DL who are visiting places together? Was ND their final visit, or know who else besides OSU?
