I am canvassing every trailer park between Tuscaloosa and Mobile looking for some big nasties. Right now I have Bertha from Bessemer and Latifa from Lanett scheduled to visit Monday. Bertha will have to play inside but Latifa got some long arms so left tackle could be taken care of.

Don’t know if there’s internal strife between them and Roach. He has been well liked by past players. Personally I think it’s just players exercising their right to get more money if they can.

All three main ones (Russaw, Smith, and KK) haven’t really lived up to their projections. Maybe coaching? Maybe them not working like they should to develop? I wish them well in their futures, but I think any team that pays them what they want are paying on potential and not actual performance.

Ok so back on topic,… this has got to be the biggest gut punch six weeks in my history as a fan… lose a chance at a natty basically two straights years when everything seemed so poised the day of the conference title games. And yes, zero impact DTs means forget a natty next year,… the ‘revenge season’ is relegated to the regular season and we all know it
