Notre Dame vs Indiana would have been a battle...
I would rather IU win, as well. Not sure why anyone associated with ND would want Miami to win. Their team next year will be completely different from this year so there is no value to them winning. And I feel like there has been a very quick turn from the general "fuck the ACC" that doesn't make a lot of sense.I get it that we are all ND fans first but IU winning it all IMO is better than Miami winning it all. I know I'll catch some shit for saying that but hell I said it.

I doubt they care that much at the moment. They're likely going to watch this team hoist a national title crown in 10 days.i work with multiple IU fans who laughed at me for saying this but i told all of them this week that if our irish didn't get screwed out of the playoffs for a crap bama team that we would have had a good shot to beat them in the rose bowl as we would have had several injured players back and that the IU defense would've had a harder time stopping our offense
How dare you, the Big 12 is the cream of the crop and ND should be so lucky as to.join them. How bad was Texas Tech?
We'll seeTough to beat TCU losing 65-7 in the natty
Same team a it was going back to Chip Kelly. Run up scores on bad teams, get exposed by anyone who has any level of physicality and solid fundamentals. This is the perfect example of how overrated Oregon and Lanning are. The entire program from recruiting on up is predicated on money. There's no culture. No discipline and they're just overall not mentally tough.
There is not a good option for ND this year. We become little brother to IU or we watch a hated rival win it all. There’s nothing good in college football for ND fans. Hopefully we win it all next year but seeing how down everyone is in the portal thread…😔I would rather IU win, as well. Not sure why anyone associated with ND would want Miami to win. No way. Having Indiana as the nation champion will kick ND in the nads.
I’ve struggled to really decide, but I think you’re right.IU. I’ll take the Catholic nerd qb, disciplined low penalty team, over Miami any day.
If they don’t turn it over multiple times in their own red zone and throw a pic six to start things off it should be a good game. The line play of Miami can be a real difference. It actually is probably the team in the playoffs that matches best to IU.
Other than a few reddit jokes that will come from this literally nobody cares that Notre Dame is in Indiana.

The OL looks like the "Replacements"Chiefs OL in that Super Bowl they gifted for Brady. Moore is getting smashed or having to roll to his right on damn near every throw.Oregon is getting absolutely destroyed right now
This season (and everything that has happened after it) has taught me that I don't like any other team. I only have varying levels of hate for anyone who isn't us.This season has jumped Indiana into one of my top five team favorite college teams; they are fun to watch, love Mendoza and Cig is even growing on me
Saban sibling......If they don’t turn it over multiple times in their own red zone and throw a pic six to start things off it should be a good game.
Indiana just looks way better coached and motivated.
I don't see it that way at all. Both teams path to their success is different. IU is portal and development while ND is recruiting and development. I get it that IU winning it all doesn't help ND but it sure isn't the killer that many people think. How many recruits are we loosing out to IU for? Maybe it will be different in the next 5 years but I also think the whole landscape of college football will be different in the next 5 years. No way. Having Indiana as the nation champion will kick ND in the nads.
Exactly. There's nothing wrong with not giving a shit about any of these teams, how they play, or even what they win. They're not Notre Dame. We're NOT on some SEC-type shit. We lost in this equation. Get better or continue losing.Who cares who wins national title? Some of you guys take twitter and reddit banter/discourse too seriously. I don't care for Cig but he has backed up his shit talk so I'm over it. I'll probably pull for IU in the title game, I just don't like Crisotbal or Beck. If Miami won though, whatever. Season starts again in August.
