Talk is it’s Kiffin and resetting the market above Sorsby, $6 million for Demond Williams

That’s a lot of money for a guy that basically pissed down his leg against any decent defense he faced

If Washington wants buyout money, LSU can just ask them to change their mind right? That’s how LSU fans say buyouts work?

$6M is a ridiculous amount for Williams lmao. Would CJ get near $10?
Kiffin's entire success is QB driven. Within reason, there is no amount of money that he wouldn't spare from his Rev Share + NIL pool to ensure that he has a competent QB to build the the program on the back of.

What success?
55-19 at Ole Miss is respectable. Dude started 5-5, 10-3, 8-5 while building the program, then went 11-2, 10-3, 11-1 in the three subsequent years.

He hasn't gotten over the top in the playoffs, but he did a really good job at a mid tier SEC job, and a damn good job at FAU before that.

Not claiming that Lane is come kind of stud, but he's had some success relative to his peers. I think it's fine to recognize that.

Nope. The moral of the story, if there is one, is that schools are built differently and some are more reliant/desperate on the portal than others.

Tampering? 1 week ago K. Minchey agreed to a 2m dollar deal with Nebraska. He's now heading to Kentucky after their new HC offered 3m. Nebraska tampered earlier and better than Kentucky and in the end it didn't mean a damn thing.

1st visit doesn't matter. The highest bidder usually gets the 1st visit. There's really no point in further visits because 99% of these signings are about the money.

Do you think Ian Strong choose Cal over ND because he thought the former had a better shot at the NC?

Nope, Cal was more desperate and they offered more money. That's why he signed with them and didn't bother to visit ND.
100%. People are confusing first visit with only visit.

Could've sworn he legit had a big announcement that he was going back to Washington. This is straight chaos 😂
Not only an announcement but he signed his new deal allegedly. Chaos indeed.

Former 5 star who was in line for a lot of playing time regardless. Wild times.

Yea, but shortly after we were on the outside looking in behind O$U, Mich, Penn St.
Also sounds like he wants a lot more money than he made last year and may require surgery and will probably miss spring. Per Matt from of ISD

That was a quick turnaround (hell, that's the portal!), but I'm sure he would be Irish if the staff wanted him.
