Pass rush is the great equalizer for an explosive offense. Miami’s back 7 is good not great but Bain / Mesidor make up for it. Need some more Dunham and Ebenezer’s in 2027.

I don't think it can be understated how good Bain and Mesidor have been this year. The sack numbers don't encapsulate it.

You get Boubacar and Young to that level in 2026, you're cooking. And both are absolutely capable of being that good and thensome.

I don't know, I think most people on here would complain about the schedule being too hard if we put USC, Miami, and two SEC contenders on it.

The biggest change in ND football recently, is going from, “in 2 years when these young guys are older…” to “next year is the year”. Actually, quite a big leap.

Still too much. You gotta spend at least a week massaging the audience, while slowly boiling the frog.

The above statement carries zero water in a timeline where EVERY single fan is excited to have a great coach right now that is building something special and sustainable.

No serious person is currently pining for the previous century. They are pining for the future, which will speak for itself.

I said I wasn’t going to watch, but I knew I was full of crap. I love football too much.

Miami played inspired football last night. Yeah, they took a nap for 1.5 quarters offensively, but Beck showed up when it counted. I was expecting them to wilt when OSU made a run and they just…didn’t. I love watching their pass rush. Those dudes are monsters and absolutely get after it.

Hat tip. They slayed a dragon. In a lot of ways they remind me of us last year.

This game is why I was so bearish on IU. Everyone was touting IU beating OSU a month ago. But I came away feeling moreso like OSU is sort of ass. I’m fully convinced Bama dominates IU today after watching that game last night.
