Seriously, fate owes us big time in 2026.

I've lost count of the number of games that ND really needed to go their way in the past several weeks and almost all of them went the other direction.

Just when we finally were going to get some vindication as Alabama crapped the bed, only for Oklahoma to come in and remind us they also didn't deserve to be in and it was clear as day while they struggled to get by more bad teams.

But that's just gonna come off as ND fans being salty, instead of using those 2 googly things embedded in your skull and watching this trash heap take place before us.

AJ looked like he was just out for a stroll in the park. Just playing with the dude the whole time.
Seemed like AJ had some type of bonus on the line to make sure it went at least 5. He wasn’t even trying. He could have ended Paul any time he wanted.

Call me a hater or whatever, but I still don't actually trust Indiana and have a feeling Alabama will take them. I'm open to being wrong, in fact I hope I am, but I don't know. We'll see.
I dont trust Indiana necessarily. But beating Big Bad Ohio State does count for something

Beat Iowa by 5, Oregon by 10, PSU by 3 and OSU by 3. Indiana 7 point favorites seems bold to me especially with Daley injury and Cooper not 100%

Mendoza will shred the Bama D though if they play like they did much of today in coverage

Yep. It was this realisation that made me post "ND should have been better prepared in September" with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
We aren't going to get vindication, I don't know what the opposite of vindication is (maybe nivdication) but that's what I am resigned to for this season. So the cathartic step is to acknowledge "should have been better prepared in September".

I don't know who looks like they have the hot hand right now (other than ND of course!) but I really think Miami has a chance to win it all, if they keep playing at the level they closed the season with. My only concern is Cristobal getting his team ready, but again, they looked good in November.

GA is playing solid D but not sure about Stockton, and OSU, not sure either, but they could peak at the right time.

If Miami beats TAMU, the quarter final matchup against OSU might be the best CFP game.

Indiana plays good enough to win. Their D will certainly give Simpson fits and Bama has no run game and their D ain't all that

I'd probably be more skeptical of IU if this was on the road.

3 of those games were on the road. At Iowa, at Penn State and at Oregon.

Ohio State is probably the 2nd best team in the bracket this year.

Unfortunately for Alabama, Indiana's offense is slightly better than a wet fart, unlike the past 5 teams they've beaten.

What's hilarious is that of the final 4 games between Alabama, LSU and Missouri, Oklahoma had their best offensive production against Alabama twice.
Well yeah Mateer is going to be a really good NFL QB. Haven't you heard?

My first impression of this game was how weak the crowd atmosphere was.

I am still sour about the CFP and ND being left out this year.

ND would easily moved on and I think beat IU in the 2nd round.

Made an intentional point not to watch. Took the misses to Stables for a Christmas dinner.

The only game I’ll likely watch today is A&M and Miami. We lost to both, respectively, so I cannot hold any grudge or ill will towards their inclusion.

That said, looking at Sports Center, how did OK manage to lose after a 17-0 lead?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but OU then proceeded to fumble a punt snap, drop a wide open touchdown pass on 4th down, give up a TD in the redzone on 4th down, and end the half with a pick 6. It was a colossal meltdown in the second quarter that let Bama get back in the game.

Same. Bama is kind of ass but they do have more talent and sometimes that wins out.

Looking at that side of the bracket, honestly, makes me kinda sick. If TTU takes out Oregon, Bama could have a relatively easy ride all the way to the title game.

Don’t worry I bet $165 on Alabama see if the magic doesn’t just work when I do it with ND opponents!
