The coaching at your alma mater thing was really warming my heart there for a second. Guess it's not for everyone.Brice said that Al Washington is coming back to ND and turning down the DC gig at Boston College on the II podcast
One of the Tim's brought up a great point: If Al wants to be the head coach their some day, will be much more difficult if he was the former DC who got fired from the O'Brien staffThe coaching at your alma mater thing was really warming my heart there for a second. Guess it's not for everyone.
Great point. Wait it out and keep grinding with ND. Not a bad plan. One of the Tim's brought up a great point: If Al wants to be the head coach their some day, will be much more difficult if he was the former DC who got fired from the O'Brien staff
I really thought that one was another fake.Texas makes no sense.
Not sure. But I wonder if the connection to Harbaugh is a dq right now. Footballscoop had an article about the search. Rees and BK are both interested! What is this I am hearing that the background check for fisch disqualified him?! How and why?!
BK has to be interested in EVERY football opening or he doesn’t get paid by LSU.Not sure. But I wonder if the connection to Harbaugh is a dq right now. Footballscoop had an article about the search. Rees and BK are both interested!
Bill might want to hide his lady from Bobby P 😂Bobby Petrino has agreed to become the next North Carolina offensive coordinator under Bill Belichick, sources tell On3’s Chris Low, Pete Nakos and Inside Carolina. The move comes after the Tar Heels fired offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens earlier this month after one season.

That should have been in italics. He's the poster boy for SEC DEI hiring for mediocre white men. Maybe he's just extremely charming and good at interviews
I read this as "Bobby Petrino on Belichick's bitch"Bobby Petrino on Belichick's staff lol
His extensive coaching experience should land him the job easily!Biff Poggi is getting the job isn’t he

They may not have any other viable options at this point. If the players and the parents like him, the internal support will start to build and put pressure on this woeful administration to make a decision based on that and not what the outside world wants. They need to at least keep the team they have left together. Underwood in particular is the main asset.Biff Poggi is getting the job isn’t he

I wonder if they are waiting on Jesse Minter when Chargers season ends, that might be their plan alsoThey may not have any other viable options at this point. When Illinois let Tim Beckman go for mistreatment of players, they have the OC Bill Cubit a two year deal. They fired him after one season. Poggi could be in a similar situation with Michigan.
To be fair, Michigan put themselves in this position and have no one else to blame. Full stop.

Footballscoop said Minter declinedMinter has a show cause until Spring, which may be too late.
Edit: that might expire at the end of this month. So, maybe not a big deal
