If Father is a real one he'd understand.“Sorry father, I know we need a new heat pump for the rectory, but the ACC really fucked us in the ass this past month”
Especially in this day & age, they are the product. They have every right to withhold that (and the risk of injury & insult) product and the spillover benefits the leeches gain if they’re being disrespected, which they are. 10.000% in the team’s corner on this one. The CFB media has made fools of them already, not again.Look at how we are taking the news of being left out... Imagine the players right now? With the team's mental state, do you think those practices would be very beneficial? They wouldn't... The team voted on how they felt, good for them.
None of our money should go to the ACC any furtherOrrrr……

I've never been more firmly convicted that ND needs to stay Indep. and push every one else's shit in from here until the end of time. Conferences want a piece of ND's pie. The bottom feeders want to suckle off the teet. Screw them all!
Most retarded take I've seen todayYou guys are retarded. ESPN DESPERATELY wanted Notre Dame in the field for the ratings.
Kind of shocking, I assumed he would want to see those 2 great Christian Universities play in a bowl game
I’m sorry, not a fan of that at all
College football season begins and ends with the Irish with me. Season is over.I hope everyone here and all ND fans don’t watch a single second of bowl season/playoffs unless you’re planning to sail the high seas to watch.
If you’re mad, back it up.
That written into the bylaws starting next year is that if ND is in the Top 12 of the rankings they cannot get bumped for a lower ranked AQ (instead they will bump another at-large).

I told my buddy we need to do this but the AAC. "Hey we're going to humiliate this conf in a way to spite the ACC, nothing against you. It's a dick move but we're going to bring in more money than this conf has seen in a decade combined. Win - win ... Then after we make a mockery out of their bullshit we leave that conf and go back to independenceOrrrr……

The NCAA. It would be a violation of NCAA rules. The amount of practice allowed and exceptions to the rule are spelled out.Driskell bitching because the younger guys are losing out on 15 practices for development. Who says we can’t still practice? Fucking cry baby, call up the ACC tell them to shove it, cancel Stanford, keep Clemson and USC. Make a deal with SEC and schedule 5-6 games a year keep Navy

I have a dream of us doing that then doing a Tetsuya Naito (if you are a fan of New Japan Pro Wrestling you know) with the ACC championship trophy.Orrrr……

Nope I've seen this play outThe NCAA. It would be a violation of NCAA rules.
And the NCAA has zero teeth. Tell them to get fuckedThe NCAA. It would be a violation of NCAA rules. The amount of practice allowed and exceptions to the rule are spelled out.
Yes. They spell them out. Don't conflate the cfp with the ncaa. Not same sameDoes anyone know what the NCAA rules are anymore?
Miami better be on 11/21. Would be good to kick their ass and USC back to back (unless USC bails)Other than Miami, this schedule is ASS!
Those longing for being a “true independent” in football are living in a dream world.
There’s a reason why we had to go this partial route with the ACC and those reasons are even more magnified today.
Literally every potential opposing team would want the games before they start conference play.
Finding quality teams to play after week 4 would become increasingly difficult. The schedule would be filled with mid-majors, especially if you blow up the ACC arrangement. Conference officials would lean hard on their members to not play us.
If you want to leave the ACC, then you need a similar arrangement with a prominent Conference, or you have to become a full fledged Conference member somewhere.
The NCAA still has teeth in this case. It isn't an instance where the NCAA is exploiting athletes. And the NCAA has zero teeth. Tell them to get fucked
