It's been said and I'll say it again:

It's time to attack ESPN, if only for the fucking principle of it.

No more financial benefits for them off our backs.

They fuck us over year in and year out.

Make a public institutional statement.

No more gamedays.

FUCK ESPN.

He deserves it. Prister can get fucked, I’m done with his publication. His narrative absolutely contributed to the permission structure that allowed this happed. That old man needs to hang it up.
The committee caved in part because the entire national media was like a dog with a bone over ND/Miami and they saw our own fucking guys rolling over to be "objective." I hope Irish Illustrated goes bankrupt. Prister can go be a coffee bitch for Ari Wasserman.

We should not take the high road, but we will. It should be full scorched earth on the ESPN/ACC industrial complex.

This has less to do with Bama, imo. This is all about ACC not losing the $ if they don't get a team.

The narrative was so blatantly obvious. Every game for 2 weeks we got a 10 minute monologue about Miami getting in.

This is beyond dumb because this was a year ND could (and likely would have) won a natty. It also highlights how stupid the ND admin was to front load the schedule like that. Marcus has to figure out how to have the team ready to win in September just like November. This sucks donkey balls but a lot of the blame falls squarely at ND’s own feet. Also fuck Miami, the ACC the SEC and ESPN.
I agree two strong opponents your first two games was a serious error by the Admin but also MF not having his team really ready from game one was the other major factor.

You guys are retarded. ESPN DESPERATELY wanted Notre Dame in the field for the ratings.
ESPN has a lot more incentive to make sure the SEC keeps playing their conference championship game, which would’ve gone away if Bama got left out. ESPN is also the ACC’s broadcast partner. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what happened here.

The Big 10 and SEC Propaganda Machine did its job. For weeks, everyone was talking about Miami and ND when both clearly should have been in. The discussion should have been about Oklahoma and Alabama (even before getting hammered in the SEC Championship).

It better be asked why BYU was punished for losing in the CCG and Bama wasn’t. *First question asked lol*

For those saying to decline a bowl game, no. Use those practices to prepare for next season, get the uber talented early enrollees a glimpse at what next year’s expectations are, go out and kick another team’s ass who thinks they deserve to be in the playoffs (laughable, but give me Texas or Vandy), and then we go 12-0 in 2026 with a bye in next year’s playoffs!
