Greg from ISD made a point I agree with that if Duke wins, the committee would put Miami in so the ACC doesn't get shut out.

Now, what the committee should do is put ND and Miami win and bump Bama out, but I have no faith in them doing the right thing.

Nama lost in the beginning, middle and the end of the season. ND lost early on and is now on a dominating ten game win streak. No faltering at all in any of those ten games. Destroyed Boise State with their starting QB in 36-7. A conference champ. Anyone else destroy a 10 win team 49-7 (Navy). I think we held everyone except A&M under the season scoring average.

Let Vegas decide. They would probably seed us at #4 and we’d get a bye. Vegas has money on the line with who they see as favored which says it all.

I honestly believe we have played up to our potential in all facets of the game once this year. We’ve been that much better than other teams that we can win handily with a B level game. We’ve need to show what we can keep doing. How we finished last year should be in the minds of honest unbiased committee members. We are finishing strong just like last year.

If Duke wins and we assume that ESPN mandates Bama is in, then I think it’s more likely that JMU gets screwed than us. Meaning they make up some bullshit to rank Duke at 21-23 and get in.
