Everyone in the SEC or anyone who has any working relationship with Saban

What's funny about Saban is that about 3-4 weeks ago when it seemed as though UF was in the driver's seat for Lane Kiffin, Saban sat on Gameday and preached about staying where you are and "the grass isn't always greener."
This past weekend Saban pontificated on Gameday that if Kiffin decided to leave he should be allowed to coach out the playoffs, making it seem like the only just and moral thing to do.
Today in his press conference Kiffin all but outright stated that Saban advised him to take the LSU job.
Why the change in Saban's tone and the nature of his advice? Well, the UF insiders are saying that basically the UF administration is tired of Jimmy Sexton and would prefer not to deal with him if they can avoid it (notice in the list that Dale put together, their new coach Jon Sumrall is not a Sexton guy). Now you can question the wisdom of a cold war with the most powerful agent in the game, but nevertheless, that's their stance. The past two days there have been pieces leaked about how Lane "wanted to go to UF but didn't like their AD." To be fair, Scott Stricklin is a shitty AD, but it seems like some infowar going on.
Oh and why did Sexton want Kiffin to keep coaching (and thus had Saban pounding the table for it)? Because Kiffin has bonuses tied to making the playoffs and winning games there. Turns out Sexton got Ole Miss to agree to pay those anyways so it didn't matter in the end.
