Sitake's odds have taken a hit over the last hour and Brohm's odds have skyrocketed. Man it would be fun to be a fly on the wall during all the discussions that must happening right now in Provo. Sounds like the boosters have been activated and might have saved the day for them, but I'm only reading hearsay on Reddit.
BYU has a lot of money behind it. I think he stays..

Awesome to witness PSU getting hammered. Brohm would be a decent hire tho.

Imagine the byu coach passing you up. Lol. What a dumpster fire that program is right now. First Freeman takes your soul. And then a fired Franklin takes your recruits. This is honestly really hilarious.

Penn State has the 125th ranked recruiting class. I’d be fairly surprised if whoever is hired gets to pick their own coordinators (especially DC), the expectations are going to be extremely high. It’s probably the 6th best job in the Big 10. Not an easy sell right about now

Bigger cult Mormons or Joe Pa acolytes?

Tough question. I only know the JoePa acolytes and it's really difficult for me to imagine any group that's a bigger cult than them.

Momos for sure. They run an entire state and several counties and cities throughout the West Coast. There's one dry city in Nevada of all places because it's a predominantly Mormon community.

On3 writer on Freeman from this morning "It’s unlikely that he will end up at Penn State, but Pat Kraft will keep making that call."

@EvilleIrish - does it get tiring to constantly just puke out negative shit? Just constant bitching and moaning, holy hell.
I genuinely want to know why Penn State fans think Marcus would leave ND. Like what’s their sales pitch? I have no idea.

Does this guy legit represent every coach in the sport?

No which is why McShay’s tweet is dumb. Lane Kiffin and James Franklin being Sexton guys grab the headlines but Freeman’s agent Clint Dowdle has chipped away at Sexton’s empire this off-season. Dowdle reps Lanning, Freeman, Sumrall, Golesh, Silverfield, Norvell, Elko, Drinkwitz, Dillingham and more

Everyone in the SEC or anyone who has any working relationship with Saban

What's funny about Saban is that about 3-4 weeks ago when it seemed as though UF was in the driver's seat for Lane Kiffin, Saban sat on Gameday and preached about staying where you are and "the grass isn't always greener."

This past weekend Saban pontificated on Gameday that if Kiffin decided to leave he should be allowed to coach out the playoffs, making it seem like the only just and moral thing to do.

Today in his press conference Kiffin all but outright stated that Saban advised him to take the LSU job.

Why the change in Saban's tone and the nature of his advice? Well, the UF insiders are saying that basically the UF administration is tired of Jimmy Sexton and would prefer not to deal with him if they can avoid it (notice in the list that Dale put together, their new coach Jon Sumrall is not a Sexton guy). Now you can question the wisdom of a cold war with the most powerful agent in the game, but nevertheless, that's their stance. The past two days there have been pieces leaked about how Lane "wanted to go to UF but didn't like their AD." To be fair, Scott Stricklin is a shitty AD, but it seems like some infowar going on.

Oh and why did Sexton want Kiffin to keep coaching (and thus had Saban pounding the table for it)? Because Kiffin has bonuses tied to making the playoffs and winning games there. Turns out Sexton got Ole Miss to agree to pay those anyways so it didn't matter in the end.
