Courtesy of Narduzzi's petty time out with 5 seconds left and Pitt's garbage time TD, the IE majority (50 of us total) who picked ND 17-23 won last week's prediction, stealing a point from the 24-30 group. Our co-leaders both gained another point, for five total, and eight others picked up their fourth point, good for a second-place tie.

Syracuse is ranked 103rd in SP+ (103rd offense, 100th Defense), which is behind the likes of CMU (99th), Buffalo (98), SMU (97) and Purdue (96). They are THAT bad. Angeli had things looking interesting in early September but since he went down against Clemson, they've been an absolute doormat. It will not be close.

So hard to secure a shutout in CFB. We haven't had one since '22 against BC and before that, it was the 37-0 (never forget the 6!) game against scUM in '14. And we've played some pretty bad opponents in between.

Plus, does it ever really happen when so many expect it/predict it? I could see it, but it could be something dumb like a scoop and score, dropped pass INT, etc that could lead to a score for SU.
