Unless it can be guaranteed that Bama loses to Auburn in a few weeks, this was a bad outcome. OU would've been eliminated, and now they're likely going to win out (Mizzou and LSU) and make the playoff. They'll almost certainly jump us on Tuesday.

Umm...yeah, sorry. I don't see it. Oklahoma is not good. Not sure Alabama is either. A&M would destroy Oklahoma. Barely beat a bad Auburn, got smoked by a mid Texas, lost to a mid Miss, beat an average TN by 6. Not sure what you are watching, bud.
I see nothing about either that really scares me. Simpson has done good this year but he was pretty much nothing today. OK D is not as good as some claim and the O is nothing special at all
Yeah, the myth of Oklahoma having a dominant D was built off the first seven games. The best offense they had seen to that point was Michigan (hahahahaha) who was something like 80th or something in total O.
We shall see. I’m not saying the SEC is head and shoulders above the rest but there are some dangerous teams. Bama this year and last is still a very good team. Oklahomas defense is obviously very good. I do not believe A&M would destroy Oklahoma. I see what I see.
After watching that game, I can see a world where both Bama and OU are behind us. It was not a convincing performance by either team. I could definitely see ND, OU, Bama at 8, 9, 10.
Oklahoma does seem to have a good defense. They've also only topped 30 points against a P4 team once this season. I'd note we also have a good defense. I'd like our chances in that game. You'd rather play Ohio State than Oklahoma?
I could see them jumping us and I wouldn't complain, but I'm also not sold that it automatically happens. Did they have a better win than us? Yes, but our win was over a ranked opponent and we demolished them with total game control basically from the opening to closing whistle.
