- BYU getting blown out but reasonably flooring at 12 (the committee apparently considers H2H within 3 spots) is why the Utah ranking was the most non talked about choice by the committee. Utah was on bye though. Wouldn’t be shocked by Vandy maybe hopping BYU and Utah as the only possible move they could make.

- 2 Bid ACC is on life support but very much possible if Ga Tech beats UGA.

How long do we keep Oregon over ND?

Yeah, but I don't want to see them in the quarterfinal. If OSU is #1, then we need to be 7 or higher, or 10 or lower. If we stay 8/9, we'll get them the second game. I would feel confident beating anyone in the bracket except for pOSU, and that I feel is a pretty close game. Let's get some momentum before we hit them.

If Oregon wins out and doesn't play in the B1GCG, then the Ducks will be ranked ahead of the Irish. If tOSU loses to Michigan and Indiana wins out, I believe Oregon would get in to the B1GCG based on playing more ranked opponents. I honestly haven't looked at the tiebreaker in that case but I think Oregon gets the nod over tOSU. If Oregon plays and loses the B1GCG then I believe the Irish move ahead of them - one caveat though... the CFP committee may look at a conference championship game loss as neutral and still rank the Ducks ahead of the Irish. Personally I don't believe the Ducks win out so the Irish will be ranked ahead of them come playoff time.

If im a team that is guaranteed a spot in the CFP, and all I have to do is lose so I don’t have to play in a CCG, count me in.

Did Tennessee really jump Pitt with both on bye weeks?

Tennessee is so overrated. And they are Oklahomas best win. Propping up an overrated OK.

Tennessee was ranked last week, Pitt wasn't.

Love this from our conference partner lmao.

How can we trust their refs? Like really.

Yeah, I really want to end this ACC agreement after what I've seen this year. The officiating in our games with their referees has been the worst I've seen in a long time. They're a shitty conference anyways and don't add anything to our schedule most of the time. I don't trust any conference but the ACC is comically corrupt.

There's one easy way to put an end to this horse shit nonsense. ND pulls away from Pitt in the 3rd quarter and runs away with it.

Then Pitt boat races both GA Tech and Miami! Bye bye Miami... Hello ND!!

And if Pitt beats GA Tech/Miami/Acc championship they are in the playoffs.
If USC can beat Iowa/Ore/UCLA they will be the 3rd big ten in the playoffs.

This right here. We play five ACC games every year and get no credit for it even when they have good records, because aside from Clemson (not this year) and sometimes Miami everyone knows they're all a bunch of lightweights. The "join a conference" haters, including ACC fans, act like we just play a bunch of MAC schools, because effectively they are.

But sure brag on your Week One squeaker win and your pileup of 7-2 teams who won't stand a chance in the playoffs. I hope Duke wins the whole damn thing.

Extremely short sited of the ACC. It’s a dying conference that is so desperate for the payout of a second playoff bid, they’re willing to actively fuck with their golden goose. Just so happens they decide this the day the Big 10 plays chicken with Michigan and USC. Would be a real shame if those 3 start exploring some joint scheduling options outside of the current conference set up

I know I am preaching to the choir. But who did we loose to, who did they loose to. Beginning of season losses verses recent losses.

We have a couple comparable games coming up which will be more telling of our good each team is currently

Computer Rankings Round-Up of the 5 most predictive rating systems this year:

1: Dokter Entropy: #3 (Essentially tied with #4 Oregon)
2. TeamRankings.com: #4
3. Sargarin: #6 (Essentially tied with Bama at #5)
4. Slate Fluker: #4
5. David Harville Ratings: #5

We'd be about a 5 point dog to #1 OSU on a neutral field

And we'd be a pick em vs the top of the SEC - TAMU, Bama, Georgia. Probably a 2-3 point dog vs IU. And favored against everyone else.
