Glad we pulled a bit away there but we’re not a playoff runner this year..

We likely get boat raced by Indiana & Ohio St.. And saying that about Indiana is frustrating for a number of reasons.. One being they’re doing more with less.

We can’t run for 3rd n 2 against fucking BC

You're more than welcome to be ok with the offensive performance. Sorry man I'm not. That's legit 4 games in a row with just inconsistent execution and terrible goal line offense. To say otherwise is just putting on blinders and thinking we're better than me are.. Unfortunately I have aspirations of being competitive in big games and right now until the offense fixes their inconsistency that won't happen.. We survived against a shit team.

The Pitt game just became very concerning. Hell throw the Navy game and Stanford into that pile as well

I didn't see one single play and followed all on ESPN play by play but I am still going to pass verdict.

1. The OL is really struggling and Shrauth, Craig cant get back soon enough.
2. Carr started badly but was good for the middle quaters.
3. Burnham got a lot of mentions by ESPN PBP.
4. That 4th and 10 incompletion personal foul by Sneed was unforgivable (even though I havent seen it).

Didnt score enough. Cant kick a PAT. The team today doesnt belong in the playoff. The kicking shit is beyond inexcusable. Its like a SEC team circa 2009.

F Freeman and winning with class. He should have passed on this last drive. ND incompetently left something like 17 points on the field and another 7 when you figure Tae Johnson is too stupid to out his knee on the ground while fielding a pop up center field gimme interception that should have been a pick 6. We just couldn’t do anything right tonight. Can’t remember an uglier 15 point win. That was not great coaching. Resembles a Kelly win if not worse. I’m not feeling confident finishing out the season without another loss if we can’t clean up all facets of our game. Announcers kept talking about how great Carr played. He hit some wide open guys and had all day to throw. He misses by five yards Fields wide open down the field. He will not be mentioned for any QB homors the rest of the season. Don’t remember seeing much of price the second half. Not sure he will see the ball in the red zone again. I like prices running inside the ten better but the fumbles will get you benched. I liked the second half D much better than the first although that mistake laden penalty laden 12 minute drive was very aggravating. This D gives up 3rd or 4th and two like it’s automatic as long as it’s a run. Thank goodness usc tried to pass.

The problem is just not CONSISTENT level of well-executed and disciplined play on O (other than Love run, stuffed a lot!), on D (undisciplined and way too many impactful - negatively - penalties!), and of course, the miserable ST kicking game!

So, a TON to work on before Navy and Pitt.

I realize that, but there continues to be glaring situations where we can ice the game or extend drives and we stall on third and forth and 2 or less.

Oh my god, “I want to be competitive in big games.” So steamrolling on the ground against USC doesn’t count. Or 300 yards passing against TAMU.



Where did we have terrible goal line play? Price fumbled. That isn’t play calling. That isn’t scheme. We were moving the ball down their throat inside the Redzone there until then.

If you want to be upset with the kicking game and JD for fumbling, yeah. Sure. But to just blanket call out the offense is just pure emotional Bull.

I was worried about this game and I was right

Freeman needs to be chewing on a fair number of people from the OC on down.

Everyone is prisoner of the moment. The people on this board will assume this level of performance will carry forward every single week despite a huge win in our last game and playing toe to toe with two good teams the first two weeks while breaking in a new QB and a new DC.

This. Again, we can totally criticize some things rightfully. JD just CANNOT fumble when he did. You can’t miss FGs like we have.

But the defense was stout against the run, made BC have to dink and dunk until they made a bunch of mistakes. That 3rd quarter long drive was aided by a phantom facemask otherwise BC scores 7.

All that said, this could easily be 31 or more to 7 and we’re saying wow great job team in a weird game. Instead everyone is on a ledge.

BC sucks bad and is not an SEC team but the worst of the ACC. It’s an embarrassing win. We need to win out more impressively than this or we will be a lower ranked two loss team. The CFP rankings come out Tuesday and this was a very shitty audition tape. This team has left dozens of points on the field in more than half our games. Not playoff worthy. We can point to this game if we get edged out with ten wins.
