Do we know what's going on here? The ND media has been saying that it is an injury. He was not dressed yesterday, though.

Where would he go? Texas? I would say ND's QB/passing situation is pretty good moving forward. OSU manages to keep multiple WRs who would be the #1 guy somewhere else.

I’m not sure. And I hope he stays and that it really is a nagging injury…it’s just awful suspicious.

He was interviewed by cam Williams down in the notre dame YouTube section asking what his favorite tradition was. It was fairly recent, so if its anything more than an injury, I dont see him having access to practice and players much like Mickey last year

No I dont think so like others have said Freeman would not have him around if it was suspect.

I think he was hurt all year and tried to play on it. He was never a speedster but he looked so slow when he played.

I mean you can if you want, I can’t see him being around the team if he was leaving. I think the 4 games is playing into it because he comes back and tweaks his hammy again he’s used up a year.
I wonder if ND sits him out till playoffs and that gives him an option for two more years

Would be ideal to 10-2 with these two redshirting, play when it matters in the playoffs and get an extra year with them.

Easier said than done for multiple reasons.
I mean we shouldn’t need either one the rest of the way

BS, I'll take Greathouse if he's healthy and returns to playoff form for the post season. He accounted for almost half of our receiving yards against Ped State and he was half our receiving yards against OSU.
Playoff games don't count against the 4 game redshirt. He was talking about not needing either for the remaining regular season games, which is correct. We shouldn't need them to win out in the regular season.

Right. I'd be wary of relying in December on a guy who hasn't played since September. But at this point I tend to agree there's no particular need to blow his year of eligibility either.

honestly hes more TJ Jones than Golden Tate. I think he will end up redshirting this year, play in the playoff hoping to increase his stock, then leaves.

Give him a RS. If he's needed in playoffs, I don't doubt he'd step up plus he can continue rehabbing/prehabbing for the postseason. We should have enough WR options at this point.

I just don't see him sticking around for 2 more years of college ball. So a redshirt would be pointless.

That said, I also don't see him as being elite enough to be a high draft pick or stepping right into the NFL.

Some maybe collect all the college scratch you can get and take your shot at the NFL when the time comes.

He actually strikes me as the exact type of player who should be trying to squeeze out an extra year of NIL. I don't see him making too much bank in the league.

If you aint tearing it up on the college field, you aint getting in a NFL stadium without a ticket.
Havent seen a thing that would scream NFL talent here.
