It really was insane the way he ran his mouth. I had one of my former HS lacrosse recruited by him to play football at JMU and I think at his core he is closer to a Nick Saban style, detail oriented old school hard ass coach than anything else. That's why I thought the antics last year were so shocking and why I made this thread, he acted like a total clown yapping and yapping and then coached against ND like he praying not to lose by 4 TDs.

In addition to the way he coached the playoff game, this is a dude who had a series against Virginia cancelled because it was too tough. You wanna act like you're a big time coach at a big time program? Schedule someone with a pulse, don't back out of a series with a (usual) ACC bottom feeder. That's everything wrong with college football

Based on what I’m seeing in the game against UCLA Indiana has zero explosive athletes on offense and it’s hard to tell how good their defense is because UCLA is terrible.

I know there is a huge debate on if this Indiana team is overrated or not but after watching this game today I think everyone on this board can agree on one thing. This Indiana team is clearly the 2nd best team in the state.

I have not seen any separation by any of the IU receivers in this game so far.

Most of their big plays so far have been PI calls that could have gone either way in very tight man coverage.

Idk it’s not that insane. They beat a decent Oregon team. That Iowa win looks a little better, but it’s not like they’ve played a gauntlet this year.

Indiana is pretty obviously getting every ounce of juice out of these guys. If ND shows up, i'd take ND by 7-10 easy. If ND and Ohio State both showed up, i'd give Ohio State a 7-10 point win I think.
