Tell me you’ve never had Asian/Mexican fusion before without actually telling me,…

Besides, S&BJ THURSDAYS,… we are talking Wednesday. 😂
You can do it Wednesday and Thursday. Nothing wrong with leftovers 😂

Alright ready for this???? Buckle up. The chargers baby blues,… how much crack did yall smoke in the 80s and 90s to think those were better than the unis they are wearing tonight?? The dark blues are a thousand times better and I’ll die on that hill

Over the past 65 years, the Chargers have been mostly baby blue, but their awesome dark blue era came mostly in the 80s and 90s.

Oh, are you one of those? People who dropped acid in the 60s think acid went away. People who smoked weed in the 70s think weed went away. People who did coke in the 80s think coke went away.

Nah, I’m just a guy who knows it took a lot of crack for anyone to think going back to the baby blues after perfecting the bolts unis in the early to mid 90s was a good move.

Just say no kids

Yeah my wife and kids are the best thing that have ever happened to me, they give me purpose I didn’t really have before. I don’t knock anyone who decides to not have kids but I can’t imagine my life without them. My kids are my legacy on the world and I believe most who never have children will one day in life regret it.

Also about the money part of it, am I broke most of the time because of my kids? Yes, but I honestly don’t give a shit. It’s worth it.

Agree with this comment 100%.

Nothing like coming home from an irritating day at work and the meeting you at the door.
In my case my son will be like dad you wanna go play catch or help me with hitting. And my daughter is into competitive dance and she is always excited to show me their new dances.

My wife and I went to the BC snow game a
2 or 3 years ago and had a blast. This year we took the kids for the first time. Seeing how excited and how much they loved the campus and the game made it even more exciting.

Where's your burial plot in case we're in the neighborhood and want to pay our respects?

I'm an observer. I see things. lol it's not difficult to watch kids and understand I'm thankful I don't have them.
Our youngest didn't want to get married or have kids. One Sunday morning about 6 years ago he calls. Tells us he got married at age 34. He's never been happier. They had their first kids (twins) in July. The dude turned into the biggest doting father you have ever seen.

There's something internal you can't describe that magically gets turned on and it's a totally different perspective on your life. Same for being a grandparent which is actually better.

Not knocking your lifestyle and happy you're content. Basing your opinion off of things you see doesn't come close.

Definitely changes you. Instant love. And through the lack of sleep or the exhaustion even, I can't believe I have this 12 month old that lights up the house or makes strangers smile in the grocery store or at a restaurant. Literal bundle of joy. Blessed beyond belief.

I wouldn't go back for that "personal freedom" if someone gave me a magic button to press. Not by a long shot. Give me the chaos and the fatherhood responsibility, all damn day. I have a reason to live I never had before, and I was beyond content in my prior life.

Is this supposed to be a happy story? I'm curious why Irish#2 didn't invite you to the wedding, or even mention it until after the fact.

If nothing else, fatherhood shut off the part of my brain that turns me into an absolute raging dickhead when ND plays like shit and/or loses.

Yeah, I get grumpy, frustrated, and a stupid loss will have me in a bad mood for a bit… but it’s all very muted compared to how I used to act.

Knowing there are tiny humans depending on you for food, shelter and safety really puts some other stuff into perspective.

Bingo, that and you don’t want to look like a dick cheese in front of your children’s. Loses hurt now but the perspective has certainly changed since I had kids

Glad it worked for you, but there's nothing my little brother found more traumatizing than Dad during ND games. One time in the Faust era, ND ended the first half at the USC one yard line and had to kickoff to start the second. I thought Dad was going to kill the whole family.

His work takes him all over the place. He was at a job that lasted a couple of months. Met his wife while on the job. Her family is in Columbia so they just decided to get married by a JoP where they were. Irish#2 is funny.

Ironic that we're talking about something great in the "What Grinds You Gears" thread. lol

I absolutely hate misleading click bait headlines. A type I've seen several times in the past year or two purport to be an update on the cause of death of a celebrity, but when you click on them, the "update" is "The family still hasn't released a cause of death yet." I just saw an article claiming an update on Catherine O’Hara’s cause of death, but when I opened it, all I got was "No cause has been given yet." Well, FU! That's not an update.
