What this graph really tells me is that Indiana is very efficient/successful on 1st downs, AND make up for it on 2nd down if not.

Watching Indiana throttle Illinois, I think they are for real this year. Embry is electric. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Big Ten Championship Game. What this graph really tells me is that Indiana is very efficient/successful on 1st downs, AND make up for it on 2nd down if not.
He completed his first 13 passes in the championship game and outrushed ND’s entire offense.Yes. No offense to Will Howard but he rode the bus more than anything. Hartman could have done that.
Finally catching up to Northwestern, Purdue, and Iowa!Watching Indiana throttle Illinois, I think they are for real this year. Embry is electric. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Big Ten Championship Game.
It would have been a different looking offense for sure, but Howard was throwing to the best WR corps in CFB with two NFL RBs to hand it off to, Chip Kelly as his OC, and a fully humming Jim Knowles defense on the other side of the ball. To Will's credit he capitalized on that, but he benefitted way more from OSU than vice versa imo.He completed his first 13 passes in the championship game and outrushed ND’s entire offense.
Dude had an incredible playoff run, I doubt Hartman could’ve replicated that.

Notably, Bear Bachmeier is the top listed true freshman. ND probably would've ended up with 2 of the top 3 on the list if it weren't for Deuce doing Deuce things. Regardless, it bodes well for ND's QB scouting.![]()

Most likely what happens in most NFL and College camps….."has done a remarkable job of protecting the football"

All 3 of the top 3 are guys ND was recruiting and NDs QB. Pretty, pretty goodNotably, Bear Bachmeier is the top listed true freshman. ND probably would've ended up with 2 of the top 3 on the list if it weren't for Deuce doing Deuce things. Regardless, it bodes well for ND's QB scouting.
They don’t even make the playoffs but he could have done better against Michigan. If Hartman brings Gerad Parker with him, does OSU still win the Natty in 2024?
100% agree if you put Sam Hartman on the 2025 ND team, he puts up big numbers. Better and more athletic WR's and Denbrock vs Parker is a no brainer. Hartman made the ND QB room healthy and I'll always be a fan of him.To be fair, Hartman got dealt a shitting group of receivers and Gerald Porker...
I've decided to drop the Jets in 2-3 years and become a fan of whoever drafts CJ.
unless it's the Browns.
Mid-season statline:
105/158 (66.5%), 1622 yards, 13 TD, 3 INT
If you would have told me in June that Carr would be top ten in Heisman odds at the midpoint of the season, I would have bet my house that Notre Dame would be 6-0.CJ Carr getting serious Heisman hype now. A big game against USC can catapult him into the top 3. He’s 9th in current betting odds.
