They've said multiple times on different podcasts Botelho's injury was worse than Traore's and Traore's injury was ACL. They're more concerned that Botelho can return being the player he was at the beginning of this year and they've heard the recovery has been a bit of a struggle/frustrating for him.

For context I’d take 5-6 other players from the Kelly era at DE over him.

Traore has been a beast all season; he has a quick first step and he's hard to block, I think he'll comeback next season.

If he keeps playing like this for the entire year, he'll most likely go Day 2 at the latest. But I could see him sneaking into the back of the first round.

He’s at 5.5 sacks half way through the regular season. It seems inevitable that he finishes with 10+ sacks … probably closer to 15 than 10. That’s going to push him into the top 3 rounds this year given the teams we play the rest of the way. We’ll be lucky if he returns next season.

He's a pass rusher. They don't really pass. No reason to risk a knee injury with a guy who's had one. Jr. T and Burnham have a lot of reps against Navy, while Traore has not. And we're on the 16-game plan, not just 12.

He’s been good vs the run too but I have no issue with giving him the night off and this is the 3rd time Burnham and Junior have faced Navy so made total sense
