4th and inches changed the whole dynamic of this game.

I still think we win (and cover) but man until further notice I want to kick every FG every week. Denbrock has really lost his go for it on on 4th and short privileges. Last week I get it, the kicker was hurt, but moving forward. Give me 3. And I'm normally very aggressive wanting to go for it, but the play calling has been spotty.

As good as the offense has been it has two flaws:
3rd/4th and short
Any penalty.

I get penalties make it tough on any offense but man it seems like any penalty or off schedule loss just stalls the offense out. For a team that can pass so well it's baffling how it seems we struggle with that. 1st and 20 shouldn't feel like an absolute drive killer but it does.

Both are situations where he decides to insert himself into the play too much aka getting too cute. Line up, pin your ears back, and keep doing what you do. Stop trying to outsmart everyone and just out play them.

Same crap we saw against Boise, lack of being able to finish drives and too many errors.
