I did not know there were Twins haters in this world. It warms my heart to know at least someone gets joy watching them play this year
For starters, there were enough heated series between the Twins and my Tigs back in the 00s when ya'll had Morneau and Mauer. There was the whole tie-breaker for the wildcard debacle that I'll never forget. Plus, the Twins just have a knack for always being decent. Like, just be super mediocre for a few years and lose 100 games. Always pesky and flirting with .500 and a pain in the ass. Finally, I'll never forgive you guys for trying to pass that eyesore of a Metrodome as a "ball park."

I can't stand that the Royals had a short window and actually won it. The Tigers had a decade of Pennant contention and never got it done. Fricken 1-8 in my lifetime in the WS. Obviously, that's just pure jealousy, but the fact that they won it right after our window closed...that stung.

Sox, self-explanatory from the Ozzie Guillen years. PITA.

Cleveland, enough said with what's gone down the past two years, but they are similar to the Twins in that they are always good/relevant and it's annoying AF.

Red Sox fan here so not an AL Central guy, but who hates the Twins? They're competitive, loveable and ultimately harmless.

I'm rooting for the Red Sox again tonight.
And I’ll root for the Yankees. 🤮 Hope Cleveland takes the division too.

Looks like the Red Sox are getting in but must battle out of the Wild Card. I’d much rather go through Toronto and Detroit in a 1 and out.

Can we all agree on this year’s Cy Young winner in the AL?

Who holds the tie breaker between Houston and Detroit? I have a feeling that might come into play.

RedSox clinched their spot yesterday. So, in theory, Detroit should see some backups the next couple of days.

Anyone know who has the tie breaker if the Yankees and Blue Jays tie?

Detroit owned the tiebreaker.

$4M/win to miss the playoffs. Haters (me) have been feasting this weekend.

Obviously disappointed with my Tigers' late season collapse, but they've now made the playoffs two years in a row with an overachieving roster (as illustrated in this early season meme), and they've got an elite group of prospects in waiting. Still happy to be a Tigers fan.

which proves, once again; that it doesn’t matter how much money a team spends. It’s how they spend it & then it’s about staying healthy. Then…even if they win 100 games and get a bye, it all comes down to a best of five series so if too many players go cold, it’s over.

Hard to feel confident in the Tigers with that dreadful month of September they had, and 1-5 against Cleveland during that stretch hardly instills confidence in a 2/3 series in Cleveland. Hoping for the best.

Last team that ended the season 3-13 and still made the playoffs was the 2000 world champion Yankees. 2025 Tigers team of destiny!

I'd love nothing more than to beat the Guardians and end their season after the amount of heartache those punks have brought to the Tigers the past two seasons.

Season is over, so they’ll hopefully (for your sake & theirs) flush the past month and start fresh. What happened the previous 162 games now is meaningless. It’s anyone’s game.
