Holy crap. We have a normal offense against Miami and win that game easily with Angeli. Hard to say if he could have put up more than 40 against A&M but why not?

Only way we win that Miami game with Angeli is if he's secretly a competent DC.

It looked like an Achilles in real time. Went down without any contact while running.

If it is achilles, do we have any recent examples of the timeline for QBs?

And hopefully he has the good lawyers that can get this season to be a medical redshirt.

I can only think of Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino in 93, there were probably some in between. Probably the season, hope the best for that kid

Would he be eligible for another year given he'd have played less than 4 games?

Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles, but hopefully he gets fired into the sun.

Vinny Testaverde one drive into the 99 season.

Jets get struck twice in their two most promising season since 1968.

Those Jets teams were good. Just looked up the 98 AFC champ game, they had 6 turnovers, but outgained the Broncos on offense. Terrell Davis, though.

That was the worst game I ever experienced and it snowballed to the depths of football hell. All offseason it was Super Bowl hype only for Vinny to go down trying to cover a fumble on the opening drive. Tom Tupa (the punter) played the rest of the game and almost won.
Then they almost made the playoffs with Ray Lucas as quarterback! He came in after Rick Mirer put them in a huge hole.

Best part was Bill Belichick "resigned as HC of the NYJ" on a paper napkin a few weeks later, took his entire coaching staff to New England, drafted Brady, and tortured me for 25 fucking years!!!

Rough injury. Luckily he has two years left because it typically takes that long to get fully back.
