Conservatives on this forum have demonstrated a lack of empathy for any dead Palestinians. I posted a story about how the IDF hit a hospital, admitted they messed up, and still not a single one said anything about it. These were members of the press or other hospital staff.
So? I didn't see it. He was talking directly to me about what he thinks I am.

Yeah they were both people who got murdered. I'll take George Floyd who was just some random drug addict over a piece of shit like Charlie Kirk. I know conservatives will disagree because of the color of George's skin. Either way neither needed to die the day they did.
What are you saying???

Individual people's view of tragedy is independent from God's.
Agreed
Again, if we accept the teaching of the Prodigal Son as instructive, God rejoices more for someone who returns to Him.
Nobody said God was rejoicing when Floyd overdosed
When a sinner dies, there is no chance for repentance. That is an infinitely greater tragedy.
We are ALL sinners. Your theology is broken.

Reread MLKs speech… content of character and all that… even that Civil rights leader would pick that POS Kirk over drug addict Floyd.

Nobody is saying all trans people are nutjob assassins, but it's also time to stop denying that a disproportional number of recent killings have been at the hands of trans people or their partners. Given some of the weird messages this guy left on shell casings, it's not like we didn't expect this. Turns out he was in a romantic relationship with another man who is transitioning. This is no longer just a coincidence. It's a pattern.

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin lived with his transgender partner, senior-level FBI officials told Fox News Digital.

Bureau officials confirmed that Tyler Robinson, 22, was in a "romantic relationship" with the unnamed person, who is a male transitioning to a female, and that they shared an apartment in Saint George, Utah. Those FBI officials told Fox News Digital that Robinson's partner is fully cooperating with the FBI's investigation.

Charlie Kirk has called all trans people abominations, he called for Nuremberg trials for any doctor providing any kind of gender affirming care. There's been a huge influx of demonizing trans people over the last 5 years, at the hands of people like Charlie Kirk, Michael Knowles, Matt Walsh, not to mention congressmen and other elected officials. You keep punching down on a minority group and then wonder why they're upset.

I'm not trying to demonize all trans people. I'm pointing out a fact that a lot of recent shootings and mass shootings have been committed by trans people. A LOT more than would be expected by their percentage of the population. The problem isn't people pointing out that trans people have committed an abnormally high percentage of such shooting in the past few years. The problem is that that they've committed those shootings. Why? What's the cause? Be offended that it is getting discussed doesn't solve the problem. Be offended that it's happening and innocent people have been murdered. When multiple trans shooters murder children in schools and murder someone for simply disagreeing with them, that's a problem. Nobody is trying to offend you. We're trying to understand what's going on and stop it.

Not everyone who disagrees with your views is "demonizing" you or being a Nazi. If your views are actually valid, some rational, factual criticism shouldn't be a problem. Instead, your side shot a man for disagreeing with them. Sounds pretty fascist and intolerant. It's OK to be upset. It's not OK to murder someone for having a different view.

You're so wrong on so many counts and this board is the perfect encapsulation of all the problems around this topic. I've been on this board for over a year trying to have this exact conversation and I've been dismissed every time.

Charlie Kirk didn't get shot because of different views. He got shot because he and others like him and the people I listed have demonized trans people. We see it all the time on here with the shit you post, postings referring to trans people as groomers and pedophiles.

And stop with this my side bull shit. I was one of the first person on here condemning this shit. It's tiresome and divisive. It leaves no room for nuanced discussion.

There's an influx of young white school shooters "young white males are being bullied and blamed for everything, we should cut that out"

There's less than 10 trans shooters - "we should really look into why trans people are so deadly" but also let's completely ignore the rhetoric around them and the almost 1000 anti LGBTQ laws passed this year alone in the States.

The federal government is actively trying to make any kind of gender affirming care illegal. That includes just normal psychiatric therapy. Instead they're trying to make conversion therapy the defacto treatment. That is happening because of the influence and reach of people like Charlie Kirk.

A lot of people on the right don't demonize trans people. Charlie Kirk wasn't one of them.

I will be awaiting the staunch defenders of freedom of speech to take a stand against people losing their jobs!!! This is not ok!!!!! /s

What about government officials!

We are all very earnest in our assessment of government overreach into censorship!!!! /s

How did I know that it was all a facade the entire time?

images

1) I will always oppose the government censoring its citizens. That guy should know better and spend his energy elsewhere.

2) US citizens are free to speak their mind, but they must also be cognizant of possible consequences when they put that speech on the internet forever.

3) On another level if you work for a government entity (local, state, federal), you have to be smart enough to know that celebrating an assassination publicly can piss off the people who pay your salary and could lead to termination.

Last, the tens of thousands of people celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk are disgusting and evil. But it's 2025, we have the internet, and all these people are dumb enough to expose their hatred and sickness for all to see.

Yes or no - do you believe that those people should lose their job or be banned from social media sites?

FTR - If they violated any terms of their employment agreements or that websites TOS then I believe they should be fired/banned.

I do not believe they should be banned from any social media sites, but I'm somewhat relieved they're dumb enough to post their garbage for everyone to recognize how evil and vile they are at their core.

My stance on their potential loss of employment is irrelevant because I don't employ them, but I would say that everyone employed by government (including teachers) should be held to a higher standard because of reasons I listed above. A lonely, isolated software developer who hated Charlie Kirk is one thing. A teacher who showed the video of his shooting to 10 and 11 year old kids in school...whole different story. Whole different level of twisted.

The ones who work in healthcare celebrating this are a different level of nauseating too.

Reaching for this to be a trans thing. The shooter is trans no the bullets are trans no his gay little roommate is trans no the internet is trans! And brainless pigs will eat it up.
Don’t have to reach very far when the guy was with a trans and allegedly posting about it in trans online communities and could have possibly had awareness/collab with people from said community. I mean, it quacks like a duck in several areas and you are telling me it identifies as a goose.

Remember when fat white trash were upset at the media playing “identity politics” with the usual shooters, but now the closet doors are open and we’ve got the Chasers getting hard at anything trans related?

****This is despite the fact that trans people commit mass shootings at lower rates than their % of the population. Maybe Wild Bill can help the class digest on a few numbers after he gets back to me on how rate stats work.
