O line is terrible but klubnick has never beaten a good team the hype is unjustified for him. He put up a bunch of stats against bad acc teams
Which he will do again this year in all likelihood ACC will still be easy for Clemson to dominate

You noticed that, huh? It was ugly. DeBoer didn't have them ready. It wasn't just one thing either. They looked unprepared across the board and no fire in them, no meaningful adjustments from the coaches, and not much intensity. I didn't expect DeBoer to be another Saban - nobody is - but this Mike Shula impersonation isn't gonna be tolerated for long. I'm disappointed in the effort and results.
So I’m thinking he’s gone if (when?) they lose again. What say you?

I’m genuinely enjoying an entire generation of Alabama fans learning what suffering feels like for the first time.

I think this is more than just typical fans calling for a coach's head after a bad loss. That was what was happening last year after he lost to Vandy. After yesterday, though, it's not just a reaction to one loss. It's a recognition that he's not the right guy. I thought he was, I thought he was the best coach available when we hired him. He's not, though. I don't see any realistic chance he'll be "that guy" at Alabama. I don't know what the buyout is or what it would take to send him on his way, but I doubt it happens mid-season or maybe not even until he's had at least three seasons, but I think most of the fanbase now recognizes that he is not the answer and we're ready to start looking for the next coach.

Besides people calling for Saban to come back…who would you have on your short list?

QB play has been pretty poor across the board thus far. Hopefully Carr breaks the mold.
Continues a multi year trend of poor QB play across the board both in CFB and the NFL. Poor mechanics, weird releases, bad pocket awareness, inability to go beyond first read consistently, etc.

I would say the best looking QB I saw yesterday was Nussmeier. He looks and feels like a guy who play on Sundays.
He looked as expected with his personnel, I thought Mateer and Daniels looked good as well.

Exactly and Sark was saying the OL did a good job in protection. They looked like a poor prep team in pass protection that hasn't worked together all Summer.

One bad rep doesn’t tell the story. Arch had all day to throw most of the game. He averaged 4.19 seconds till throw on pressured dropbacks. That would be one of the worst marks in the country last year. Up there with Shedeur in terms of holding the ball too long. If you’re holding the ball that long you have to either A) complete the passes then or B) run. He did neither.

Okay, lmao. They also don't have Saban either. Saban wouldn't be down 17 to this FSU team, "even playing field" or not.
Probably would just so happens it abandoned ship when the playing field leveled out. It wasn't a coincidence.

Saban coming back is a pipe dream. Not happening. Short list for a DeBoer replacement? I don't know. I haven't put much thought into it yet. Kirby would be my choice, but no way he leaves UGA. I really have no idea.

Eh, I'm not gonna go so far as to imply he ran away from competition, but you have to consider he's in his 70s and navigating the massive sea changes in CFB was probably not something he wanted to do at his age. If he was 10-15 years younger? Sure, and I'm willing to bet he would have still won big.

I just don't believe this narrative that no one except Bama was paying players under the table. All of the top SEC, ACC, and B1G programs at a minimum were. Saban was the difference maker. If I was a 5* kid and was going to get paid either way, I would have went to play for Saban because he got them paid in college and got them paid in the NFL. Alabama has a been a machine churning out draft picks over the last 15 or so years.

I watched ESPNU's skycast last night and it was so much better than the regular broadcast. You can see the line play and geometry of the game a lot better. Plus the sound is fantastic - you can genuinely hear the crowd noise, band and PA the way the players do. The camera zooming around during stoppage in play is more fun than announcer babble, especially if I use the time to look up players and learn the rosters better.

Finebaum said It's 70 million. That's affordable there. If he loses more than last year.

I'd love to get down there and catch a game. Looks like a good time. When I retire in a few years, im going to hit up a bunch of places I've always wanted to catch a game at.
Don’t waste your time at the LA Colliseum. Not a great viewing space and old and also in da hood.

I'd say most stadiums are in the "hood" as you say. Cheap land, residents won't fight it, and it allows the locals the opportunity to redevelop.

Are we talking most most or just most off campus ones?
