And he can actually talk ball with Goolsby. Singer is good for bickering and recruiting. Poor Kyle Kelly, though. If you ever watch their recruiting videos together, Singer cuts him off at least five times.

Kyle Kelly can mumble about nothing for ten minutes at a clip though.

B&G recruiting pod is the worst on the beat right now. I give them credit for the work they put out and the written product on their website, but the pod is unlistenable at this point.

I have a really hard time getting through a Singer podcast. I used to just consume everything but now I pretty much go with Irish Illustrated, ISD/Hit and Hustle, then national shows. Oh and Locked On Irish is actually pretty good.

Did you try out the new Robby Toma and Mike Singer Podcast? I tried but woof it was bad

Singer is brutal. Talks incredibly slow and repeats himself because he has nothing to say and it's a way to fill the time.

Do you ever listen to IB? I love to hate on Driskell as much as anybody else, but I must admit I enjoy tuning in for the afterglow after a big win or to seek some catharsis after a tough loss.

When I'm starving for content, like after some big news breaks, or after a huge win or garbage loss, I do check it out. Def not in the regular rotation.

Always thought something like this for ND beat would be listenable. The premise of this Iowa State beat podcast is various guys from
Different newspapers/outlets getting together once a week to discuss beat related topics. Gotta be more interesting than what we get on ND beat podcasts where it’s guys agreeing with their bosses and no real actual debate

I love the II OG crew + Bryce. I love Sampson being an English football loving curmudgeon and that he so clearly sees ND as his job, not at all how we see it. I love Bryce’s analysis, SEC perspective, and the golly jeepers routine. I love TO because he strikes me as a guy who never grew up in the right ways and he just gets ND football the best. And I love the chairman, TP, because he thinks he gets ND football the best and he takes it so seriously.

All other pods pale in comparison, it’s really not close.

Yep, 100%.
Some of sports journalism will come back but not for a while. We're in a back cycle for that at the moment.
