Wait, what happened ? Expound please 😂I think it was in 2023? I saw Driskell commenting about IE and he encouraged his cult members to bring the names of people who shared his precious intel on here.
Me when CJ Carr throws a 60 yard deep ball tuddy to Fields in Hard Rock to open the game
I think it was surrounding him and his dancing gifs, people posted here that Driskell had posted those. Then people speculated on who it could be and he thought it was some super secret info that no one else could think of.Wait, what happened ? Expound please 😂
I believe the end of the video was on recruit's instagram or twitter account. Someone grabbed a video in the stadium watching... it was shortly after we started picking up commitments in June.Good article (free). Pete doing what Pete does best aka not trying to talk ball and speculate on personnel!
Any chance we get can our hands on the video played for the parents & recruits?

How Notre Dame became a more durable national title contender for college football’s new era
Notre Dame is no longer trying to bend the soul of college football to its will. It's focused on competing for titles every single year.www.nytimes.com
seems to be a trendAthletic putting out a decent bit of content now without being behind paywall im seeing
I was talking to Lincoln's grandma today and she doesn't feel like he has gotten a fair shake (as you might imagine most grandma's would feel). But, she claims Day made all sorts of promises, do this, do that, and you'll be the starter and she claims he did, including winning the Iron Buckeye award. She chalked it up to politics and NIL, which we all know is part of the game at this point.Kienholz blew up pretty late. He's from my hometown and I remember he had like NDSU, Wyoming, Minnesota and Washington in his top 5 the summer entering his senior year. He committed to Washington due to DeBoer being from South Dakota and then flipped to Ohio State pretty late.
So if Ryan did what he did at UCLA, he would probably never have access to the team again right? I mean what's better for a coach trying to run a tight ship, beat writers speculating on very limited information or releasing to a free website that 1 QB definitively took all of the 1st team reps? I'm willing to bet Marcus Freeman isn't happy that info was disclosed. Yeah, he was mad about the beat saying it was Kenny, but what caused that? Weird timing that it came out right after Ryans report. You're all so desperate for information that you're willing to possibly hurt the team to get it. Im not innocent either. I just think it's weird you guys are glazing each other over something that the head coach probably hates.

I'm surprised he stuck it out there and didn't transfer last spring, actually. I'm assuming he will be gone when the next portal opens.I was talking to Lincoln's grandma today and she doesn't feel like he has gotten a fair shake (as you might imagine most grandma's would feel). I didn't press her for much as she came across more as a scorned family member than someone who knows the ins and outs, but still felt it was interesting enough to share.

yeah theres definitely something strange about the way he talks. I bet off camera he speaks way more southern but tries to make his accent more neutral when on cameraI say this with the caveat that I really enjoy the info I get from him, and think he is a solid reporter ect... but
does anyone else think John Brice uses 25 words when 5 would do? I feel like I have forgotten the question he is answering by the time his finishes. Woof da
Used to be The Athletic when startup money let them hire everyone but after the NYT purchase they are going down to skeleton crews it seemsWhere do people go for headline news across all sports? ESPN has had a well documented decline, but I still find myself going to espn.com for quick hitter headlines. Mostly due to habit and familiarity of the UI, but I definitely don't scroll down past the fold because I don't care what Lebron or anyone else in the WNBA is doing that day.
Also can't really rely on the individual sports to report their own news (mlb.com, nhl.com, etc. are just marketing tools).
Yeah, it's big boy football and a business. Unfortunately that means 18-22 years old are going to be taken advantage of and discarded in different ways.If you’re a QB prospect and you want a fair shake, don’t go to the big name school hitting you up at the last minute. Just is what it is. Same is applying here in some respects.
I think there’s a huge difference in what Ryan did and what the ND Beat did. The ND Beat started speculating that Minchey was on the verge of winning the job prior to Ryan going to his practice. The speculation was based on what their sources were telling them. Ryan simply went to a practice and stated what he saw with his own two eyes. These two things are not the same.So if Ryan did what he did at UCLA, he would probably never have access to the team again right? I follow a whole bunch of national sports journalists on Twitter. About 90% of what I follow on there is sports related. Quickest way to get sorts news.Where do people go for headline news across all sports? ESPN has had a well documented decline, but I still find myself going to espn.com for quick hitter headlines. I don’t disagree with anything you said, it’s all true. How's he being taken advantage of and discarded? It's not like they're pulling his scholarship.
The kid had to know Ohio State was going to recruit the best QBs they could find, every year, (which is some pretty damn good QBs in their case) and he was going to have to compete with them for playing time. He took his shot. Good for him (and for Minchey who effectively did same). Meantime, he has received world-class development and a free college education, has plenty of eligibility left to transfer somewhere else, and even won a national title along the way.
At least the coach he committed to is still there, which wouldn't be the case had he gone to Washington.

Penn State, Texas, Clemson, Oregon, Ohio State, Georgia
The top 7 teams in both the AP and coaches, minus one of course.
I would say that the lack of experience at QB would make sense to keep us off the list but 4/6 of those teams are starting a first timer as well. And Drew Allar is a spazFirst pre season show of the year for ESPN. The “Herbie Awards” list of title contenders:
