I wonder if Tyler Booker would have been the pick had the Cowboys passed on him. I pegged the team as needing some more help along either trench. Warren seems like a pick for the future as I'm personally out on Richardson
I actually think Daniel Jones can be good. The Giants are even more dysfunctional than the Colts.

I don’t know much about comps but I’m hoping Tyler Warren is a George Kittle type.

Love the Warren pick but I just don't think we have anyone to get him the ball. AR has to take huge steps forward this year or he's gotta go. Daniel Jones isn't the answer. Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him but I doubt it. Without a better QB room this team won't be better than maybe 8 wins.

We definitely need to shore up on Offensive line. We need a guard and Tackle. Also we need to address LB as well. We lost EJ Speed so I want that guy from UCLA. Can't remember his name off hand but those are what we need to address. Maybe ab Edge or DB.

I mean I'm a Bears fan and glad that I don't have to put my faith in either of those guys. But I think Richardson has the better upside.
Richardson's upside is off the charts. The problem is he can't get his head sync'd with the rest of his body. After taking himself out of that game last season, I really question his dedication and if there is drive to improve?

Also the fact that he thought that was an acceptable thing to admit to on tv why he subbed himself out. Talk about losing guys in the locker room

With all the struggles he’s had with drugs, I honestly am surprised it hasn’t happened a long time ago. He was 65 and looked like he was 80+.
He really did look like he was 80! So unfortunate and hope the Colts franchise does better in the future! Get rid of Ballard would be a start!

When he took over, the first thing he said was he didn't want to be like his dad. Irsay fought his demons, but what he wasn't was Bob Irsay for sure. He appreciated the fans and his philanthropy was non-stop.

He's been grooming one of his daughters to take over for several years. You could find her regularly on the sidelines wearing headphones. She has been running much of the non-football operations like marketing and tickets. Not sure the involvement of the other two.

Edit: From ESPN
Moving forward, ownership of the Colts is expected to be transferred to Irsay's daughters. Each was given an ownership title in 2012 and has had active roles in the organization for years. How much of the team, if any, was transferred to the daughters remains unclear, as well as the impact of potential estate taxes.

Fun story. Before moving to Florida, my son played in a cover band called DUDE!. Irsay hired them to play Super Bowl week and before games in Lucas Oil Stadium. Irsay wanted them to play at some special event. The girl who sang didn't have a car and couldn't make the practices Irsay scheduled. What's Irsay do? Pay for an Uber? Nope, he bought her a car. Told her to pick one out. She tells him she found a nice used car. He tells her he will take care of it. She goes to pick it up and there is a new fully loaded Escalade waiting for her.

RIP Jimmy.

Colts announced that all three of Irsay's daughters will have ownership.

All three have served as Colts Vice Chair/Owner since 2012. With the transition, which was pursuant to longstanding plans set forth by Jim Irsay, the three owners will assume new roles and titles, effective immediately:
  • **Carlie Irsay-Gordon** will become Owner & CEO. In this role, she will serve as the team's principal owner, but all three sisters will share leadership duties for the club.
[*]**Casey Foyt** will become Owner & Executive Vice President.
[*]**Kalen Jackson** will become Owner & Chief Brand Officer and President of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation.

Then that would be bad news for the Colts. I love Riley for what he did last year, but he just can’t make the throws needed to win NFL games.
You don't see the "Bad Moon Rising"?

The only glimmer of hope I have is Jones and hoping he will be better because he has a better O-line, WR's and RB than he did in NY.
