Going to see F1 tomorrow. As for CB movies I could go my entire life without seeing another and be just fine, never been my genre and their dominance in cinema is probably the biggest reason I don’t watch many new movies anymore, just me. I am hopeful for F1 tho,… we shall see

Days of Thunder was better.

couldn't enjoy watching F1 because it reminded me how robbed of an Oscar Kerry Condon was for her performance in Banshees of Inisherin

She went from smoking hot to worn out really fast.

Disregard, I had her confused with Carey Mulligan.

I haven’t seen super man yet but I heard it has a preview before it for the Christopher Nolan movie. How’s that look?
We saw Superman yesterday. Loved it. Great action scenes, kind of a feel good movie, and great nemesis in Lex Luthor. I've seen the new F1, new MI, and now Superman this summer. Superman was my fav. Check it out.

Going to see it Saturday. It was between that and 28 Years Later. With a 9 month old, dinner and a movie date is hard to come by so we couldn't realistically plan to see both.

Wife loves horror movies and zombie apocalypse stuff, but I reasoned with her "Which one would be a better experience watching in the theater vs. at home" and she actually agreed! Miracles do happen. Pumped we're finally seeing it.

I enjoyed F1,… definitely better than Days of Thunder lol
I liked both a lot but still prefer Days of Thunder. Cast was crazy good with Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Randy Quaid, John C. Reilly, etc. Honestly thought this movie was really good and was a huge feel good movie which I have a soft spot for.

No love for Robert Duvall?

I caught the last 30 minutes of it on TV a few weeks ago. I found it hard to buy the last racing scene. No one makes up that kind of ground that fast in so few laps.

It’s still more realistic than a 11th place F-1 team winning a race.

Days was a lot better.
I hated days lol,… thought it was one of the worst sports movies I ever remembered seeing. I guess it’s worth noting I haven’t watched days in years but when I did see it I had a hard time even finishing it and thought it was predictable and pretty stupid. I always hold it as one of Cruise’s worst films and am surprised by the love y’all are giving it. I didn’t think F1 was an all time classic or anything but miles better than days,… just me

I haven’t seen it since it came out, but remember liking it. Tom Cruise is awesome.

I’m sure I’d hate it now since I’m a lot more informed as a race fan though.

It's a very dumb movie. But it's very slick and now we have Maverick driving a race car! It's fine for people who don't know anything about cars or racing and just want to be entertained.

Even Speedway starring Elvis Presley is a better, more realistic stock car movie.

I'm not kidding.

I thought Rush was decent, Ford v Ferrari killer, and the best racing movie, Talladega Nights: Ballad of Ricky Bobby :ROFLMAO: (although I laugh-great flick and much better than DoT IMO.

A great documentary is a MotoGP one narrated by Ewan McGregor, Faster and the follow-on one, Faster & Faster.

If you want a true racing adrenalin rush, look for videos on Group B rally cars from the 80s. That was racing. Cars were fabulous, lots of factories involved. Banned when it became too dangerous (to drivers and spectators).

Robert Duvall is a great actor also definitely. Really liked him in The Godfather movies and also one of my other favs Falling Down.

A director I apparently enjoy but wouldn’t have guessed is Ben Affleck,… I haven’t seen By Night but his other four films I’m aware of were all major home runs to me. I was actually surprised to learn he directed all those films.
