We thought Superman was a good show. I like the treatment of Superman as more of an earnest do-gooder, and they did that here. Both Hoult as Luthor and Corensweat as Big Blue did a really good job. It got a little JAMES GUNN in a few spots, and I thought they made the Kents a little too slack-jawed (like a city boy's version of a country boy), but they were still fine.

FBolt might be better off re-watching the Barbie movie, but we enjoyed it.

Son took me, not my generation’s Superman. If you go in appreciating this isn’t meant for the previous generation you’ll find a movie that entertains. And as someone that hates preachy movies, for all the talk, this wasn’t the case.

I loved how the rural Kent’s pretty much made everyone else look like complete shit bags. Even with their 8th grade farm family education. Clearly making the point Superman is who he is because of them and the rural upbringing he had.

Superman was awesome. Vastly superior to MoS. It was bright, hopeful, and FUN!

Snyder's dour dark "realistic" bullshit poisoned the DC universe for years. So glad Gunn is in charge now. This is a comic book movie that feels like a comic book movie.

Corenswet, Hoult, and Brosnehan are all perfectly cast. Corenswet and Brosenhan have awesome chemistry. Fillion's Guy Gardner stole the show for me in his few scenes. He played the arrogant douche perfectly. Milly Alcock is going to kill it as Supergirl too. Love the direction they're going with her and not just making her Superman Jr.

GOTG was really good.
Part two was awesome.
Part three felt a little stale and repetitive. Superman is part four and felt like watching the same thing again.

I could be wrong, but it’s been three and a half years and part two isn’t even in pre-production yet. Seems like it was killed.

Gunn didn't kill anything. WB is waiting for Reeves to finish his script, which he's been dragging his feet over. Release date for #2 is 10/1/2027 because he keeps pushing it off. Reeves and Pattinson are the reason that Batman isn't part of Gunn's universe.

Going to see F1 tomorrow. As for CB movies I could go my entire life without seeing another and be just fine, never been my genre and their dominance in cinema is probably the biggest reason I don’t watch many new movies anymore, just me. I am hopeful for F1 tho,… we shall see
