I’d feel much more confident seeing Jagusah at LT against OSU over Baker, assuming Spindler is good to go and Knapp is out.

Baker gave it his all after being thrown into the fire last night, so there’s no need to be overly critical. But if OSU wins tonight, I’d feel more comfortable with Jagusah in a fistfight against Sawyer than Baker. Carter is far more difficult to deal with as an edge rusher, but Sawyer plays far more aggressive, brings it every down, and if he's getting into Baker's pads consistently it's going to be a long night for the offense.

I wish I knew how to embed gifs.

Made me think of Austin Powers on his plane šŸ˜‚
Maybe I'm dumb but I don't get it. Is he saying it's a dirty play? Or is he saying that it's a really awesome/aggressive performance? The level of zoom makes it hard to tell what's even happening.

Because he did. If you have a boo boo you're worried about, sit the fuck out. I'm sure Penei Sewell and the homies will be gentle with him next year when he tells them he's a little ouchy on one side.

Exactly. We gonna act like Lagdon Treadwell wouldn't go after Okwara's shoulder if he had knowledge it was hurting? They don't call OL the Big Nasties because of their bedmaking habits.

He also seemingly wasn’t as injured as reported during the week. Zero chance he was actually a true game time decision. He probably practiced after the media left during the week too. Another Franklin ā€œtacticā€

I think it was confirmed at some point in the pregame interviews with Franklin that he practiced. He said something like "had a good week of practice" at some point and my ears perked up.

Knapp is definitely not playing, IMO. Watched him walk off the postgame celebration in a walking boot, limping heavily.

I guess it wasn't crutches, so anything is possible. But just did not look like a guy who can go a week from Monday.

There is no way Baker is the answer. Barely even a body to get in the way out there. To say he improved throughout the game is just admitting to such an unbelievably low standard it’s insane. I know ā€œtrust the coachesā€ and all, but mannnnn was he looking like a slow, confused player out there. Very difficult to watch IMO.

He's gonna be so much fun to watch next year, just not sure where. That game alone tells you exactly why the staff is so dang high on him.

Usually it’s 6-8 weeks to recover so assuming back by A&M they’ll need to move some guys around I’m guessing Lambert starts

There is no ā€œusualā€ for a compound because we don’t even know the details.
Does he need surgery? If so? What type? What bone(s) was it?
Will he get an infection (which is a risk with anytime bone breaks the skin). People literally get amputations from infections caused by compounds.
We have no idea the level of his injury, there are many factors involved with compounds.

The rumor he has a compound break of his arm has not been shot down by anyone yet.
All that has been shared is that ND has asked the media not to discuss an injury before ND gives the official details.

I’m part of a group text that is well-informed, and one of the people in it messaged someone who would know, and 90 minutes later has yet to receive a reply?
I’m out of town at a ranch in the middle of nowhere & don’t have access to your WiFi until night, so I’ve been trying to stay in the loop by texts.
