Not sure why anyone would call that insulting

Maybe I’m wrong but if I was called a sleeper prospect in high school, I think the connotation is much more negative than “late riser” or “under the radar” as just a couple of examples. Or, could have actually described him as “explosive” or one of his traits as 247 did. I think of sleeper as a 6th round pick or UDFA. Not a high school prospect. Maybe I’m letting my disdain of EJ get in the way

But they passed on Javian Osborne
EJ has that entire fanbase convinced Osbourne was afraid to play with another RB, despite ND openly recruiting a 2nd back & getting one rated much higher than the kid Michigan just got.
EJ also told them Michigan didn’t rate Osborne as high. I can tell you for a FACT that Tony Alford wanted Osborne. He saw Osborne & Hiter as equals.

Even his own fan base has turned on him

I can say with full certainty that even Michigan's fanbase isn't stupid enough to be convinced by this clown.

Most of them are ashamed he is associated with the program.

EJ dropping a “BOOOMMM” after Michigan gets a RB who’s next best offers were Rutgers and the military academies.

lmao, seriously, who drops a "Boom" in the same tweet as a self-proclaimed "sleeper" commit. Dude acts like they just landed Joey O'Brien.

Imagine if EJ leaked the news they liked him and someone like Purdue offered a scholarship to him.

It's going to be incredibly frustrating when they don't get hit as hard as USC or even Penn State. Give me a three-year post season ban and a suspension of revenue sharing to the football program.

Ped State didn't get hit hard though. It looked like they did at first, but after a year the NCAA pulled a mom move and said "Awww, I can't stay mad at you, punishment's over." It was complete bullshit they got all their wins back for covering up sex abuse of minors, and we never got ours back for self reporting a few players cheating on papers.

They can hide behind the fact that the "cheating on papers" and reverting the grades made them retroactively ineligible, thus affecting the on-field results. Whereas the insanely heinous acts by Penn State didn't affect the on-field results. It's ungodly stupid that you'd be willing to lift punishments for a program that literally covered up widespread child molestation, while upholding punishments for something that happens at literally every program in the country.

Problem with Michigan is they can't use that. Whether it's recruiting, scouting and off-field criminal activity by the coaches/staff, they're fucked.

I don't think even the NCAA can ignore all of the crap that happened at Michigan.

For as much as we like to cry foul on USC and the Reggie Bush fiasco, what's happening at Michigan is much, MUCH worse.

Welp they were champions to years ago and still haven’t done fuck all about it. By the time the NCAA is just about to bring down the hammer, it will be dissolved or no longer involved with top level football
