It's not about grudges. Recruits see this and most have decided that Notre Dame's coaches are excellent and they believe in Freeman and Mickens. We have damm great coaches! We are Notre Dame! We are finally seeing the fruits of labor.

That's ultimately what it boils down to. The guys who got us there came via leaps of faith. They've put down one hell of a foundation.

9 wins, 10 wins, 14 wins. That's how you build a program. I'm beyond excited for this season more than ever. Last year was more joy than I've experienced being a fan of this program in a very, very long time. A certain loss to a certain Illinois directional school cast a pretty long shadow of doubt, but what an absolute RESPONSE to adversity that came afterward.

I still have the sights & sounds racking around in my brain from the National Championship.. My 11 year old son & I sitting there watching Ohio St lift the trophy while their fans barely gave a fuck..

All I could think of was how much better off college football would have been if ND won this game.. We were the life of the party all night..

It was only a few players that separated the talent enough for OSU to win.. That and our decimated DL.

But with this class Freeman has closed that gap & possibly put us on a trajectory that results in the dominance we once had in the past.

Anything can happen.. and Freeman will soon be a scorching name in the NFL but I genuinely believe he won’t leave ND before winning a NC.

It feels strange to see Notre Dame taking those final steps back to the top.. it’s been so long.

2026 Fantasy Camp is going to be epic I imagine. The new athletic facility will be operational..
