The HS team I coach has a number of highly regarded '26 players who know or have played against Dylan. He plans to come to ND as things stand and I'd be very surprised if that changes.... but you never know because he's not going to fly under the radar like Jordan. But there are not many schools where you can play Tier 1 football and lacrosse... ND is pretty unique. And he wants to do both at the moment.

As far as football goes he's taller than Jordan and people who know him seem to think he is better at this age than Jordan, but they also had Jordan playing QB and doing other stuff besides playing the position he's currently playing in college, so take that with a grain of salt. He is definitely taller than Jordan but very skinny.
Double cheeseburger time!

Notable from Battle Miami

Boca Raton (Fla.) St. Andrew's School three-star receiver and Notre Dame commit Dylan Faison couldn't be more locked in with the Fighting Irish. Schools are trying to flip him, but he decided to "choose hard" and wants to play for Freeman. Notre Dame fans have nothing to worry about on this one.

Huh??? Why would he do that? Is he not wanting to do lacrosse anymore?

Bowden going after multiple ND commits. I guess they won’t be in the same wedding party if either him or Freeman renew their vows anytime soon

It’s pretty interesting that USC is leading with LA + ole fashioned spite it seems. It’s been a heavy focus on LA kids + flipping ND/Oregon commits. I guess he ate his Wheaties.

Could be Loy trolling tbh, but assuming it's true, I still think these other teams would need to move mountains to flip him given the familial and lax angles of his recruitment.

Assuming this ends up being nothing, the silver lining is this is some nice validation that he is an elite football prospect as well.

This one makes no sense. Why would Faison do this. It can’t be the money.

In fairness, he committed so early in the process to ND, and might have a raising profile because he's actually doing football recruiting events. Maybe he wants to check out the local school and see what USC is like because of Bowden?

I would be shocked if he went elsewhere... one of the players I coach knows their family well and used to play lacrosse with him when they lived in Florida. He was set on ND before he was even allowed to have contact with coaches for either sport. Nothing has changed there. Maybe he gets offered insane NIL and wants to only play football, but even then it's hard to see him going elsewhere (unless ND wouldn't match).

I don't blame Bowden or Florida for trying to flip him, but this would be an all time head scratcher.

Where would he go? Syracuse? He's the #1 Lacrosse player not WR

Can’t see him going somewhere without lacrosse but him saying football > lacrosse is interesting.

Can't see the #1 prospect in any sport giving it up unless he was a top guy in another more lucrative sport. #1 vs #800 is certainly tough, especially since he's one of the best prospects I've seen in years as far as goal scoring. When it comes to accounting for goals he's like Lemieux and Gretzky in Hockey. So far he has 164 goals close to 80 assists in last 47 games😳😳😳

Cant compare a sport where you can make millions a year to a sport you can make 15-25k a season playing

It's why I put the first sentence in there but in the PLL guys make 3x more than that #. Getting on someone's practice squad for a few years would be less lucrative and higher risk for injury. Guess he feels it's worth the gamble but don't see him giving up Lacrosse.
