I'm a bit skeptical. For one, the original report seems to lump all $20m of the rev share amount into the number when I think its actually closer to $15m, based on the 75% number going around. Second, it makes no mention about the non-clearinghouse deadline and the front loading of contracts that teams are doing. So it could potentially not be $25m, of non-rev share NIL for just this year, but $25m worth of contracts for the next few years that are front loaded to this year.![]()

Looks like Texas saw what Ohio State did last year and was like, here, hold my beer.
I think I'll wait to pass judgement on that number until more reporters confirm it instead of just quoting what was essentially one paragraph in a much further ranging article.
