Did anyone see the article where Carson Beck and his girlfriend had their vehicles stolen down in Miami? Hers was only mentioned as an SUV but Beck‘s stolen vehicles were a Mercedes and a Lamborghini.
Seen that yesterday. He has one of those Lamborghini suv's....I'm sorry, I like their cars but that suv is not for me

neighbor has one, actually an amazing car. Think Porsche Cayenne but with a lambo engine. Huge issue is that it get like 9 mpg.

Where I teach is technically Kensington, but not right on top of the tranq by any means.

If anyone has an hour, this is eye-opening

Bless you, man. I don’t know how you do it. My mother was an inner city teacher, mostly 5th grade, for 40 years.

She was asked to teach this semester to help out a friend. She’s tough, but 78 years old and the kids are so bad that she doesn’t think she’ll finish the semester. She’s never quit anything in her life either.

I teach life skills but due to lack of resources the class is essentially a mixture of mostly well behaved autistic kids and well behaved kids with more severe intellectual issues, filled out with the worst behaved kids in the school. In practice this means the kids with special needs are just getting sucked punched, tackled, kicked, etc several times a day by the same few kids. No amount of suspensions, Principal visits, officer interventions, etc are really working.

Heartbreaking and ideally this won't be too long term for me. At the same time, I love every single one of them and that's what brings me back each day. Lots of really shitty home lives these kids are dealing with and it's easy to tell how much you mean to some of them.

Wife is a special ed elementary school teacher in the TC burbs. She can empathize and relate to all the above. Kids can be so cruel!! Still a few good ones that keeps her coming back... For atleast a few more years.

Trying to save the college game from the greedy and emotional family egos. Probably will work for the reasonable few.
I hate what college football has become. I miss the late 80's and 90's era. I miss the old grass stadium with 59,075 seats. (Those games back then were 10 times louder than the current stadium). But I'm old school I guess. 😏

Is this good or bad
It's bad for teams like Notre Dame because we don't pay shit. We paid our good players 1.7 million total in 2023 (not sure what they paid last year).

Teams that want to win national championships pay each GOOD player 1.7 million.

That's the difference between good and GREAT. that's also why we will never win another national championship until the University gets their head out of the sand because they are still stuck in the 90's.

Looks like Texas saw what Ohio State did last year and was like, here, hold my beer.
Bohls also reported that Arch Manning makes the most money on the Texas team, which should not come as a surprise. However, the quarterback does not take any money from the school and instead makes his money through NIL deals independently arranged by his representatives.

Just shocking!
