athleticism, accuracy, turnovers were his concernWe’re throwing our whether he is or isn’t it, what was the critique?
Grubbs has clear arm talent. He’s a pretty big departure in terms of the fact that he’s a pure pocket passer but I’m curious what the knock is besides athleticism and the typical mental stuff (progressions, reads etc)
In what way are things trending lol? Its the spring and he's had nothing but strong showings at events.Yeah, I am not hating on the kid. Just sharing the article. With the way things are trending, he is right though. No reason we shouldn't get a flat out stud in that class.
Recruiting, Team momentum, Etc. Notre Dame should be looking at the best QBs on the market. "Trending" was in reference to state of the program. Not GrubbsIn what way are things trending lol? Its the spring and he's had nothing but strong showings at events.
There's a happy medium between "5 star stud" and "this kid stinks". I don't think he's a top 50 guy, but he has those big time offers for a reason.
And in terms of prospects we are in on at the moment, correct?Recruiting, Team momentum, Etc. Notre Dame should be looking at the QBs on the market. "Trending" was in reference to state of the program. Not Grubbs
He will get one as well as 19 others this year. He's a solid player with a lively arm and mediocre athleticism, just has to get the accuracy issue adjusted. He's never going to wow anyone like Ryder Lyons but should be a solid/good player.Where is his elite 11 invite?
NDFAN2008’s favorite initials:You guys saying Herbert and Grubbs aren’t it are clowns. Grubbs has been constantly named as one of the most impressive on the 7-7 circuit and at camps. Have you ever heard of development chances are Carr is gonna be QB for the next 3 years.
We’re throwing out whether he is or isn’t it, what was the critique? Just he ain’t it isn’t very informative

Seems like his qb coach loves himself a bit too muchI get hyping your guy, but this seems to be right up there with Trujillo calling him a "generational talent" a year ago. I'll stick with a very talented QB prospect which could turn into a very good college QB. It's hard for me to take anything his QB coach seriously with the over the top hype.
Bull Durham will always get you rep points….😆
Hit and hustle don’t think he fits the modern game. Podcast from last weekSaw some comments in Malachi Ziegler's chat, that there is a souring opinion of Grubbs...anyone have quotes related to this? Perhaps some context as well?
At LSU, the slot fade was a big part of Denbrock's O. I talked to Grubb's OC last year about their deep choice concept (Briles shit). He could excel here if we have the dudes out wide...He reminds me of the 2010s Air Raid QBs. His arm is good, not elite. Don’t love his throwing motion but it’s fine. A stronger lower body might add some juice there. He’s not a statue, he’s more mobile than like Kyle McCord for example. Offense they are asking him to run is very RPO first read stuff.
