“With a verbal commitment coming this Saturday, May 10, from No. 311 composite DT-Lisiate "Tiki" Hola, the Irish are expected to supplement their interior defensive line with the 6-foot-2, 285-pound Bastrop, Texas product.”

I want him because it's NIL era and DL, take as many as you can. But I'm not blown away by him as a prospect. He's small but he's also not popping off the line like a Howard Cross.

ah most likely he will gain a bunch of weight and just end up as a run stuffing interior DL, which is fine. You wouldn't expect much else from his frame

SMU has a lot of momentum coming off the OV, and before the in home with the Irish. Let’s see how the staff combats that with their time in the Hola household.

If he legitimately has offers from all of the schools in Texas, that says something.

He’s bigger than Cross already and possesses the frame to likely extend that, IMO

Cross was 6’1 285 at the combine.

SMU playing the nil game sounds like
They are, but it’s more than that. Texas kid staying in state is an angle they’re playing and they have a Poly staff member that’s really connected well with Tiki Hola. It’s a combination of things

Makes sense it came down to the two CFP teams, instead of the lower programs like USC
One is a playoff team. The other was masquerading as a playoff team.
