His HS production is outstanding to the tune of 4,522 yards rushing and 72 TD.

Hopefully for him and his team he has a monster senior year. Appears they fell off a bit in 2024 from 2023. Deep playoff run, pile up the yards and wins, stay healthy.

Friday Night MVP: Javian Osborne

In a 38-21 win over A&M Consolidated (TX), future Fighting Irish running back Javian Osborne took over the game in the final 24 minutes.

Down 14-7 coming out of the half, Osborne took the first play of the third quarter 66 yards to paydirt.

By the end of the game, Osborne was credited with four touchdown runs by the media in attendance, scoring from three yards out, 27 yards out, and 10 yards out, in addition to the long score mentioned.

With verified stats pending, Osborne has at least 300 yards rushing and six touchdowns in two games.

His Forney (TX) squad improved to 2-0 with the 38-21 victory.

Super high on Javian. Not just because of recency bias his tape is very similar to JD price.

He has that really deceptive glide step/cutting pattern that lets him move laterally while still going forward/not losing momentum. I'm having a hard time pinpointing his running style compared to another back. Looks a little like Kyren, appears to always pick up yards even when the defense has good positioning.

Going to be fun watching him develop.
