Not knocking you at all, but it's kind of amazing recruiting rankings ever held any sway, or still do. It would be one thing if the guys doing the rankings were ex-college coaches, ex-head high school coaches, ex-NFL scouts, etc. But they're not. Tom Loy, Steve Wiltfong, Andrew Ivins are the types of guys doing the rankings. They're not in any way qualified to be opining on this stuff. They can get the top 20-50 guys mostly right (not that hard based on the number of offers and the top programs heavily pursuing certain kids), but the rest is just a complete crapshoot on their end.In all seriousness. how come he dropped so far in the RB rankings?
There is no one in the game right now that's better at identifying secondary talent than Mike Mickens and here are the composite rankings of some of the guys he's snagged the last 5-6 years. Pretty funny to be honest.
- Cree Thomas: 490 overall
- Ethan Long: 515 overall
- Brandon Logan: 630 overall
- Leonard Moore 430 overall
- Karson Hobbs: 629 overall
- Kennedy Urlacher: 641 overall
- Adon Shuler: 318 overall
- Ben Morrison: 311 overall
- Sauce Gardner: 1605 overall
