Sorry, bud. You aren't going to get many people here siding with you. If you some Michigan affinity, you do you, but most of us hate Michigan. There are only a few things I hate in this world. I hate Satan, I hate sin, I hate Michigan football. In that order. There's not a single person I hate. I think my hatred of Michigan is deeply embedded. Growing up I was in the heart of Notre Dame/Michigan country. It was also during the time they were two of the top teams in the country and played each other early every year. I wouldn't have hated Michigan so much if it wasn't for all their fans having such a hatred of Notre Dame. They viscously hated on the Irish, so as a young 9-12 year old, this made me hate their team, as well. My favorite team is Notre Dame, by a mile. My second favorite team is whoever Michigan is playing, also by a mile over anyone else. Now you add on how they are cheaters, and how they are cocky about their cheating. Their current program is classless, IMO. Add in the history of Michigan...easy program to hate.

There's something about Michigan - the proximity, sure, and the ancient history of Fielding Yost blackballing us, but also I think their self-perception as a program being so similar to ours - that really riles up Notre Dame people, especially ones who are from the Midwest.

OSU is in the same bucket as MI ever since dealing with their cheering fans at the Fiesta Bowl when Jaylon went down.

In my interactions with each fanbase, these two were the least classy besides Miami. Excited to be in Coral Gables on August 31st though.

Not sure if this should be a surprise or not, but I've found Clemson fans to be the most friendly and welcoming. They're even better than the docile Gopher fans.

Went to the Shamrock Series at Soldier Field in 2012. There were very few Miami (FL) fans there… but the few that were, were the absolute worst.

It can’t be coincidental that the 5 Miami dudes in our section were a representative of every Miami-fan cliche you could think of.

As a man that hates generalizing people… I can only assume 95% of Miami fans are that obnoxious.

It’s a game. I have no affinity for Michigan just not going to hate any people because of game. Hate leads to disease. You all do you. It’s a good reflection of the state of society and humanity in general.

Exactly, it's just a game. Not an indictment over the state of society. It's fun to hate rival teams. I don't have an ounce of hostility toward any one person on that program.

well he was at annie whore arbor this weekend for a big visitors weekend event and probably won't know anything about where things stand between our irish and scUM until late today or tuesday when recruiting beat writers start texting him
