Info like that would go a long way to sway opinion. Do you have a link? In the past 3 years, I only see examples/videos of Ukrainians eagerly kicking ass.
He will just post something from someone with a Russian flag or Z in their name

(Hate my decision-making ability for posting in this thread, but ...)

A. No one's considered "End Game" is WWIII, and as no one of any importance (even Trump) is insane to the Everyone Loses "end game", WWIII will not be the preferred choice here at any stage.
B. Trump only wants to have his adulation in public (I can't believe that people still think that there is anything, ever, on his agenda that violates his ego-absorbed interaction with the world) . Probably Zelenskyy had to be bluntly shown that to believe it. Now he does.
C. No such "diplomacy" should ever be flaunted about before live Television. But Trump wants his adulation. Even he said this was going to be good television. (mind-bogglingly incredibly.)
D. Ukraine is the draw-the-line-in-the-sand place to halt Putin Land Grabbing. This is completely obvious to everyone (note the reactions of the Baltic States and essentially everyone in Eastern Europe, thus spilling across all of Europe. (Plus every military guy you're getting on TV now --- no matter what party they connect to, they all agree that Ukraine's is the current line in the sand.) Ukraine is fighting for its OWN life for sure, but no one should with a straight face say that they aren't giving anything to the general Western Democracy hopes for the future.
E. Trump wants a Win. That's the metals deal. Zelenskyy is quite happy with that idea. He just wants that to be packaged with a bit more assurance that Ukraine won't be divided and its existence as an entity lost. Trump however wanted a fast splashy TV win. This is an example as to why diplomacy should be done Big Picture and involving several consultations and behind doors.
F. The metals deal is a winner for everybody in the long run --- or should be. The greater the involvement of the Western Economic powerhouse on the ground in Ukraine makes it FAR less likely that Putin even considers going in there and interrupting the flow of Big Money interests (let alone military materials interest in the US.)
G. Trump lectures Zelenskyy as having "no cards." Well, sort of true vs Russia military numbers, but how does one blame him for wanting the cards that he does have (the resources, which are more than merely the ores, and the battle-willing Putin-stopper life-spilling soldiers) included in the bigger picture treaty with the US?
H. Europe might just step its role up and also make a deal for the minerals, plus the FOOD that Ukraine has always sent them in abundance. That would be almost as good a global economy "solution" to Putin Aggression, but Europe, in the end still needs the Leviathan to back it up. Hopefully they'll say "Thank You" enough on television to Trump to get it.
I. The only way we go into WWIII is if Trump gets so petulant about not being publicly adulated enough that he pulls our military force away from Europe, thus allowing Putin meddling in far more areas. That is an insanity that, I hope (and pray), even he isn't capable of.

Random very recent US poll, 72% just want it to end in the US.

In Ukraine half the country wants to be done. Only 38% support the need to keep fighting. Ironically they want the EU, UK to negotiate peace not the US.

In the US - giving up territory is not popular
However, most voters took issue with how the negotiations have gone down and with some of the terms that Trump officials have discussed.

Fifty-nine percent said they were opposed to Ukraine’s leaders being left out of the U.S.-Russia dialogue, while 41% were in favor. And 55% said they were against European leaders being sidelined from the negotiations, while 45% were in favor.

Additionally, 57% said they were opposed to Trump administration officials “forcing Ukraine to make territorial concessions in order to end the war.” Meanwhile, 43% said they were in favor of this.

In Ukraine - giving up territory is even less popular
52% want a peace deal, of that 52% believe that Ukraine should concede land.....so 27% of the country supports giving up land to have a peace deal with land concessions.

So, seems like MAGA is again wrong in what other people want.

I don't know.... it could be true..... I mean they do have .... hold on ......52 followers.
I saw it from some bigger accounts but no reliable source. As a submariner who has pulled into Norway on a EUCOM deployment… I can tell you none of the premise of that makes any sense.

evidently it goes back to some facebook post that evidently has been deleted.

Would seem to be a weird post for a big company to word something along the lines of "biggest shitshow ever presented live on TV"

So it seems, Toronto, that you're a bit harder on Trump and his voters than you are on everyone else.

But who do they remind you of, Toronto? A scrappy overachiever in Toronto? One with an economics degree? I think you know who I'm talking about here.

So who are you really been hard on, Toronto? Them or yourself?

And you don't get why I roast you for being childish and shallow. You're whining about the new admin... you know, the one that tossed your corrupt losers out. You cheered for a demented fabulist and his dim DEI VP whose horrible ideas got their party rejected by the country, yet here you are blathering on and on and on and on about everything and criticizing the winners. You're like the guy who lost everything he had investing in Blockbuster and now won't shut up explaining the stock market to those of us doing well there. You're like a 13-year-old boy who just copped his first feel of a tit and is now trying to tell all the grown men how to please the ladies!

Aside from the 5 or 6 other beta boys here, the rest of us are just rolling our eyes at your endless "expertise" and brilliant explanations of everything. FFS, read the room. Your side lost. Your policies got rejected. Your candidates got trounced. Your ideas are garbage and got rightly voted out. You're smarter than the average person, but still 20 IQ points below what you think you have and 40 below what you want everyone else to think you have. Stop being an immature 13-old-boy lecturing the grown men. Be quiet and stop boring us with your endless drivel and pontificating and I won't keep doing this to you.

What? There were two parties in that meeting, Zelenskyy and Trump/Vance. I guess I could say that the clown who asked why Zelenskyy wasn't wearing a suit is a dumbass?

There is really no similarities between me and Trump/Vance. Vance has achieved way more than I have and has done so from a tough background. He has a law degree from Yale. Trump is self explanatory.

Yeah, I'm sure there is nuance, but isn't the whole point of a nuclear sub that it basically doesn't need to refuel?
Yes, there is diesel fuel on board for the emergency diesel engine in case of extended reactor shutdown at sea from a casualty situation. Obviously a diesel is loud and not something you would run long enough on deployment because it would defeat the purpose of deploying as a nuclear submarine lol.

You're roasting me? Buddy the only roasts you encounter are the ones you stuff yourself with. The sheer lack of self awareness is astounding, you and your other elderly friend spent countless days freaking out about whatever culture war du jour for four years, did anyone tell you to shut up because your guy lost? No? Ok. You're a self important little man who can't speak with facts and reason, just come running in beating your barrel about how smart you are and how dumb everyone else.

The rest of us? If anyone's rolling their eyes they can post it here, so far you're pretty outnumbered so maybe it's just the voices in the walls telling you how dumb I am. You can't take seeing other people's opinions, so instead of being a man and explaining where they're wrong you just want to Karen-out and say "shutttt upppppp"? Nah, I'm good.

Look at you, you're so self obsessed that you haven't once looked in the mirror and realized (to borrow a line from your superhero) you don't have the cards, the only card you have is the VIP card to nearest buffet. For someone who looks the way you do I can't believe you developed such a poor attitude. You're built like the bagel boss guy, no reason to act like him too.

The more I’ve thought about this, the more I think that somebody misinterpreted what was just a normal BSP, where you surface, come close to shore, and swap a small number of people on and off the boat
