Not roll over and compliment Putin would be a start.
You are amazing at what NOT to do and pretty useless at what TO do.

I don't think throwing the towel in and letting a dictator get their way is the right move.
I hate the idea of letting Putin keep what he wrongfully took also, but the reality of the situation is that there probably isn't a good, politically viable way to restore Ukraine's lost territory.Ukraine is basically out of soldiers. The status quo isn't an option.
Option 1 = Negotiate a deal
Option 2 = Increase involvement by directly fighting the Russians instead of just sending ammunition and equipment.

No one wants your kids in the military to start with, your money will be headed to IsraelYou all live amazing lives where you have never had to eat a shit sandwich. We aren't even the ones eating the shit sandwich and you spoiled brats demand annihilation of a country out of some tough guy principle.
Keep my kids and my $$ the F out of it. Hold a grudge on Russia forever but know it is Europe's problem 1000% more than good ole US of A. Hold those twats accountable for retarded policies that empower and embolden Russia. Gee - guy in the Oval did that in his last term and you wet yourself over abandoning NATO or some shit.
Not to mention most of Ukraine war has been a front for money laundering and grift - how do people not see the real motivation for perma wars?
Edit - "you all" is not directed at Bishop here which should be obvious.
Lol gezz
Only path I saw from the beginning was taking the fight to Russia. Attack their infrastructure and invade them back so they feel it at home. Biden put conditions on arms to restrict this which was very advantageous to Russia. Only way to level the playing field.
This. If Trump is able to get Jordan to facilitate a reconstruction of Gaza and assist in setting up a proper governance structure that's probably the best case for everyone. Israel get's to wash their hands of the area, US doesn't have to be the peacekeeper, Jordan already has millions of Palestinian refugees and won't be seen in the same light as the US/Israel, and Gazan's can finally get rid of Hamas. Eventually they should transition to a reformed PA and let them govern themselves.
I'm baffled by the idea that anyone thought the Bear was going to give up. No reason to give up something you worked to obtain when there is zero possibility it will ever be taken away from you. It's not what anyone wanted. My preference would be for Russia to retreat to where they were prior to this war, but it has become pretty evident that this is pretty much a stalemate as some have already stated. Trump doesn't want to continue pouring weapons and money into this. Rather than just pull all support and let Russia take Ukraine, he's going to negotiate a settlement that, while not what most of us hoped for will at least stop the bloodshed and let Ukraine get back to rebuilding their country.
Trump and Putin buddies? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Ukraine makes Russia look like San Fran. People forget thisUnfortunately, the Russian people are peasants. All they've ever known is dictators of some form. They just don't care about feeling it at home. They just want to survive.
There is a Russian saying: Life is shit. At least we have vodka.
The French should have done a deal like this in 1778The US is no longer a friend to the world
What good is being “friends with the world” and letting the world free ride off of our military protection now? In the Cold War era it made sense. When we have seen our industrial base sucked out from the inside due to the benefits of economic free trade, why should we continue to be taken advantage of?The US is no longer a friend to the world
Your right china and russia call the shots now. No one will be willing to step up to either one of them. What good is being “friends with the world” and letting the world free ride off of our military protection now? Let Europe take care of Russia on their own. We will take care of China. Rather than trying to maintain a military ready to deter both, just focus our instruments of national power to deter one. It’s easy for the Europeans to bitch and moan about us not doing enough to win Ukrainian territory back and trying to end the war when they won’t bother to foot the bill themselves though they have the most to lose.Your right china and russia call the shots now. It's part of the US military doctrine to maintain and actively be ready to fight in two conflicts at once.Let Europe take care of Russia on their own. We will take care of China. He wants Europe to pick up the biggest piece of the tab. This shouldn't surprise anyone. In his first term he was vocal about the U.S. footing the majority of the bill for NATO.Let Europe take care of Russia on their own. We will take care of China. Not sure if you read the story but these amendments are simply solidifying laws that are already on the books in Mexico. These aren't "new" laws, it's just taking them to a higher standard.![]()
Mexico Plans to Change Constitution to Protect Drug Cartels From U.S. Military Strikes
Mexico is advancing plans to amend its constitution to protect drug cartels from potential U.S. militownhall.com
If the Mexican president and government was not compromised by the cartel, why would they not want to have direct US military intervention coordinating with their military to wipe out the scourge of the cartel?
If the Mexican president and government was compromised by the cartel, would they act any differently than they are now?
Lots of compromised governments in North America lately![]()

So making moves to solidify laws that would be counter productive to eradicating the terror groups that live in their country. Got it.Not sure if you read the story but these amendments are simply solidifying laws that are already on the books in Mexico. These aren't "new" laws, it's just taking them to a higher standard.
This isn't solely about cartels either. Fun headlines though.

Those cartel leaders pump a lot of money into their economy. They give out money and goods to the poor in many regions where they operate. The Mexican government can’t support them. Maybe they don’t take a hard stance because of this?![]()
