I like the effort, but this is more of a pipe dream. That general region is always percolating and until the terrorist become nothing more than a nuisance it will never be peaceful.

I agree with your sentiment. Why make this our problem? I do think the idea here is "bulldoze the whole area and start over" which has some appeal. Trump could know full well the offer will never be accepted and wants to make them look like unreasonable terrorists or he could be baiting middle east powers to take the reigns and keep US out of it. I don't buy that we will actually end up doing anything he is proposing but this is mostly bluster and posturing to change the broken dynamics of the situation.

Makes you wonder how many tunnels Hamas has in Gaza. They're a bunch of rats, they can't be allowed to control that region anymore. They need to be banned from all positions of authority, Palestinians need real leadership that has their best interests in mind and are willing to work with Israel. The culture there needs to change, that's the only way they'll see any kind of peace.

Think you need to give the PA control of the areas Gaza/West Bank, and then have UN investigations to facilitate the rebuilding of the area. Make Hamas essentially the same as “Nazi” in Germany, where any sort of flags etc land you in a Palestinian controlled jail. The PLO and Fatah detest Hamas and they need to be supported in rooting out Hamas. Allowing the Palestinians self govern would go a long way in stopping the breeding of terrorists. As well, would allow Israeli’s to let the UN deal with it rather have to keep them under occupation.

They will always breed terrorism. They are all inbred. It is all they know.

The UN is toothless. We found this out after October 7. They were in bed with Hamas. Idk if sending in Paki or Malay peacekeepers would do much.

Found out they were toothless well before that. Still allowing russia and Iran to be apart of the UN confirms they are a joke.

When we fuck up at work, we have a safety stand down where we pause all work activity and assess where we were fucking up and how to prevent fucking up in the future. We clearly are fucking up with USAID and I am completely okay with taking a pause and figuring out how to not fuck up again before we just keep letting the cash fly

This may have been missed yesterday. With Trump's EO to not allow biological men to compete against women in sports, the NCAA made the change finally. This is a big win for protecting women's sports. The question will be what happens the next time a Democrat takes over office and will the NCAA go back if the EO is rescinded? The language "assigned male at birth" could be a sticking point according to some, we'll see.

Not good look. He should divest.

Having said that and seeing the money many Congressmen and Senators have made with their insider knowledge, you can probably find several that have similar investments. I'd like to dig in on all of them and clean this up. Term limits would help some.
