When I first found IE, this is the site that had the most insiders and connections. It's always been a great community with some degree of moderation to keep trolls at bay.

I'm proud to say I've never been on 247.

The pod is also my favorite, but I do enjoy the articles and like that the staff interacts on the board. IE is still my favorite though, I only went over there initially because IE was down.

Man I'm so curious to know more about this considering how close Marcus and Chad reportedly were. Was it about a specific incident(s?) or a general feeling that it was time for a change and therefore they would no longer fight to keep Chad if he got another offer? I always got weird vibes from him when I watched his interviews. Either way, really excited for Blanchard though.

In short:

Bowden has potential, and he does do well developing individual relationships, but he is not the Uber talented, irreplaceable GM many think him to be.

USC did Notre Dame a solid.

I have no idea who you are or what is going on lol, but clearly you're in the know. But ISD reported ND did make a run to keep Bowden. Maybe they're wrong, but if they did make a run to keep him, it seems like his potential was worth dealing with the elbow rubbing.

Everyone reported they could have kept him if they wanted to and he was headed to USC so not that hard to fill in the blanks.
