So what you are saying is if you break your arm you won’t get care for a hospital? Under what basis would this happen?

Denied passport because why? You don’t want to check a box you don’t like? If government passed a law that made me a women I check the damn box, who cares.

I treat people the way they deserve to be treated. I don't take the stance to treat someone like shit just because. They're straight up not issuing people passports. And they did pass an executive order stating your a women now so better get started on updating that.

By not acknowledging that a group of people exist and by passing laws that make it damn near impossible for that group to exist in society, you are making an effort to make that group of people disappear. That's why there's been genocide warnings issued for this very reason.

And since I know you all love when we compare Trump to Hitler and the Nazi's. The way this administration has handled transgender people is right out of their playbook.

To be fair I’m not transgender. I’ll admit to being pretty obtuse on the subject.

Pretty sure in Torontos latest post/rant he stated that you identify as a woman so what’s the problem with identifying as a woman on your passport?

Genocide? Yeah, you’re living fairly land. There is nothing I can say to help you.

I'm telling you what is happening and providing sources, and you're rebuttal is I'm living in fairyland. Good constructive conversation.

I'm lucky that my passport was updated. Others arent getting updated passports and others are flat out being refused passports.

You're right nothing you can say will help. And you refusing to educate yourself on the topic is hurting your ability to help even more

I think (not positive) the Department of State or whomever issues passports may be guided by an executive order saying males are males and females are females*. So the passport in that case might identify someone as a male, although that individual identifies as a woman.

*no intended offense to anyone. No idea if I even got it right.

Correct, and there's been some reported cases of people trying to get a passport without updated gender marker and them being denied.

I'm not sure what executive order it is, but they defined sex/gender(whatever term they used) as defined at conception. Which creates a whole other issue, since technically everyone is female for a few weeks

I just pulled mine out to check, it says sex rather than gender, at least on mine. What does it say on yours? I don't remember filling it out. Just remember calling my senators office to get it expedited (lost my previous one, needed to go to a wedding overseas...a marriage that ended less than a year later because it turned out he was closeted lol)

I suppose if they wanted to clean up the language they could, or maybe will have to if/when people challenge it.

Mine says sex. I was in the same boat as you. I lost my previous one and had to get it replaced.

If I can explain this issue from the perspective of someone that is trans.

We have seen trans people straight up being denied passports currently. We're also seeing passports being issued that don't match with birth certificates, SSN and state IDs. The other issue is they're trans people who have had bottom surgery both m2f and f2m who have passports that show a sex that doesn't match the parts they have.

I get the not being a real man or women argument, but when I a trans male who has a cock has a passport that shows them as female, that's an issue.
