According to this article, JGS practiced for 2 weeks with Dante and was so impressed with him that he decided to transfer to Cal rather than compete.
Yeah OR receiver Tez Johnson says Dinty Moore has been killing it in practice and he thinks DM will be a Heisman finalist next year. We'll see.

What's the name of the best pizza joint in Fort Wayne? Sorry, I don't feel like scrolling through pages to find my answer.
My answer is Big Apple
But now that I don't live in FW, I miss Clara's Pizza King.

salvatoris is gas station pizza

Wasn't it Salvatoris everyone was mentioning?
Salvatori’s makes a good pizza.
Big Apple makes a great NY style slice.
Dom’s is a newer spot with a killer Detroit style.
Papi’s is a newer place downtown on The Landing I haven’t tried yet, but has good reviews.
Johnny Ox in the Electric Works is hit or miss, but I’ve had a couple good slices there.
Coterie up in Garrett is worth the drive. Their pies don’t miss.

Can I interest you in some local gas station pasta, Mexican, or Indian food? There’s a couple of 💣 Indian spots in local gas stations.
Thar randomly had a sbarro back in a gas station in wabash for a hot couple months. But much like the enchirito it disappeared again.

Yes.
Which proves my point, we have a lot of gas station pizza eatin losers on here...

Propaganda! This makes people think it's old pizza turning on a shelf in the gas station itself. The New Haven Salvatori's location just happens to be attached to a gas station building, but it's separate from the station itself. It's a sit down restaurant, but it's the best damn Italian (Roman style) authentic pizza you'll ever find next to a gas station, dammit!

But for real, you would not expect such excellent pizza is such an odd location in the middle of nowhere.

A little back story on why I asked. One of my staff was going to Fort Wayne for a meeting today. She mentioned that the manager in FW said he would order pizza for lunch. I sent him an email with MacIrish75's suggestions. He replied "Thanks". I get an email from her saying they ordered Papa John's.

Reminds of a colleague of mine who got to go on a once in a lifetime business trip to Japan and when he arrived in Tokyo he headed straight to TGI Fridays' for dinner of hamburger and fries

She should resign immediately. He could have at least gotten gas station pizza from Elmo’s.

Drives me crazy when I see people on vacation going to chains. I mean, unless you're on a strict budget or you're in a hurry and have to Subway lunch...I'm only going to local joints.

It’s kind of amazing that Salvatori’s started next to a gas station. It overcame that stigma and opened 6 “legit” stand alone restaurants because the food is really good. They consistently rank as the #1 Italian restaurant in Fort Wayne.

I’ve had pizza from some of the other locations and it’s really good. Some people swear the New Haven pizza is “the best” for whatever reason.

I'm guilty about talking about the New Haven location, but only because I haven't been to any of the others yet  It's just funny how it's in such an odd location, the first time I went in I had super low expectations and was completely eating crow after.

With the exception of the Southwest FW location, I believe all of their establishments are either in gas stations or closed Richard’s restaurant locations lol.

Pupatella (the original one in Arlington is by far the best) if you want neapolitan pizza... there is one off of Wiehle tho that will be closer to you
