If you could add one former player to the roster for this game, who would it be?
Really tough question. Would either be a DT(Zorro/Young) or WR. Prob go with The Rocket since he can return kicks as well..

I just want to know one time how it feels for your favorite team—the team you’ve lived and died with for your entire life—to be the champions. I was too young in ‘88 and even though the White Sox won in ‘05, my passion for ND eclipses my love for the Sox tenfold. I wasn’t really a legit Colts fan until after Peyton’s run, so I can’t claim those.

I seriously don’t know how I would react when we win. I can’t wait to find out.

I cried when the Blackhawks finally won in 2010.
The tears will flow tonight.

Keys to game:
1. Take care of ball.
2. Gotta force Howard to be uncomfortable and get 1-2 turnovers
3. Setting our offense up in great field positon
4. Long drives running clock need to establish the run
5. Have to take some shots or run some plays we haven't seen all year

Not working today is both a blessing and a curse. I’m going to need to go to the gym for like 3 hours as a diversion.

If I could add one former player it’s Samardzija. His attitude and edge would be a perfect fit and he’s the outside threat we need

Pastor on Sunday attempted to draw some correlation between the activities surrounding the National Championship game and his sermon topic. He threw up a picture of a ND player and an Ohio State player. Some lady behind me yells out O-H. Thankfully nobody responded. Stay classy Buckeyes.

Let's go Irish! This game to me comes down to Ohio St's receivers v. ND's secondary. Both absolute strengths. Smith is very dangerous and can blow a game wide open like Oregon. I could also see Howard force some and get picks. Corners have to be on tonight. We know Watts and Shuler will.

Let's do this Notre Dame Nation!

I don't come from a ND fandom family. As a six year old, I fell in love with that 1973 team and have been die hard ever since. During my childhood, and through the Lou years, every Saturday you felt like ND was going to win the game. Didn't matter who they were playing - didn't matter what the weather was - didn't matter how much travel they had experienced going into the game - ND had a shot. Then the program completely fell apart. It was a strange feeling not having confidence in the team that you grew up knowing was going to win a title every few years. I never lost my desire to see them win, but I lost my ND swagger. Oh sure, I still wore ND clothing all the time, but I became a suffering ND fan.

BK was the start to building some of my confidence in the team back, but Marcus is just different. I felt it from the beginning of his tenure. I knew there would be bumps, but I was definitely getting that feeling again with him being in charge. By the Georgia Tech game this year it was full on back. Sure I was nervous for the USC game, but I had that feeling again. No matter the circumstance, ND has a real shot to win every game. The playoffs have proven that to me. Even being down 10 to Penn State didn't shake my confidence like it would have in the previous 30 years. As soon as we scored that opening TD in the second half my mind was like it used to be. WE GOT THIS!

This team will go down as one of my favorites for this very reason - my ND swagger is back. Win or lose tonight, I know going into the game that we have a shot. This team will not fold. The pressure will not be too much for them. When a play needs to be made, someone will step up and make the play. This is going to be the longest work day of my life but WE GOT THIS!

When I am sitting on my couch sobbing tears of joy tonight, I know my IE brothers will doing the same. GO IRISH!
